i've got d600 aswell. i have 3 mobiles for diff things. my d600 is for co-workers to contact me.

d600 isn't a good phone for cam as its only 2mpx (avrg phone now is 3.2mpx i think). it can store up to around 15-20 songs with no memory stick and no other data on the phone such as pics or vids.

a good point about the d600 is that you can connect it to your t.v and watch your vids / listen to your music through your t.v. also, it is a very durable phone, god knows how many times ive dropped it and stuff but it seems to never even get scratched

For my 18th my dad has said he'll get me any mobile...

He suggested the nokia 8800 (http://www.nokia.co.uk/BaseProject/Sites/UK_18025/CDA/Categories/Phones/PhoneModels/Nokia8800/ExperiencetheAttraction/_Content/_Static_Files/nokia8800.html)

Which seems a good enough phone... but the camera is only like 0.5 mpx?

Does anyone have one? Or does anyone know a phone that might be better? I like the style of it too... so don't pick one that looks lame :p

Cheers...

8800- Back of poo, camera's bad, battery is bad, no features.

The 6230i what you can pick up dead cheap is equilavent to the 8800 feature wise.. and it has a better camera then the 8800.

The K800i is a decent phone, better than the w810i. (iv had both and currently have the k800i)

The phone you pick depends on what you want to do the with phones..

The Nokia n series phones are symbian and are usualy a little less user friendly (slow wise) But you can put alot of software on these phones such as tom tom mobile etc (sat nav)

K800i/w810i are both Java programed and can run quite a few games/software but are limited to java mobile writen things.

All depends what you wanna do with your phone.

The k800i has the same quality music as the w810i and it has a 3.2 mega pixel camera which is better than the w810i's 2 mega pixel.
The k800i is only slightly bigger but does have a slightly bigger screen to go with it, you can also make video calls with the k800i... not like im ever going to make a video call...

So tell me what you want.. Walkman phone... Camera Phone... Loads different software phone... a good looking phone what is crap???

Let me know..

The Nokia n series has poo battery life

I have to disagree there since I actually own an N91 Battery life is fine only thing that drains it is the wireless but thats to be expected..
Not that the battery life would bother me since I have two batteries anyway so one is always fully charged

yeah i kno, its still based on the tech just more loosely. the k800 series and newer are the first to be actually branded with the CyberShot logo but all the w800 + fones have camera's close to the standard.
