More help for new players.

Hi all.

I am new to this server and although people seem friendly enough there are still to few players willing to help the new comers :'( I have played many servers in the last 16 years or so and this is by far the least helpful :bord: or maybe im speaking to the wrong people i really don't know..

as mir has gone on i think you get more and more people sticking with there grp of freinds and eventually turning to some sort of live chat option with a mic so they tend not to see or read chat that often. i know thats what i have done lol

Did think about starting a low level guild for those 10-30 to help them get a boost in going... unless the main guilds are already recruiting low levels?

I was thinking the same, ive asked a couple people for a few tips, but they just seem to ignore you completely :/

Yeh some good points there.. i mean ppl say hi etc, but when u need info or ask for a little help you get blanked lol -_- i'm past the point of needing help now anyways but thx for the offer and i think guilds are quite open to the low lvls from what ive seen. GM's ignore aswell even when u message them on here..

Surely if you have played mir for 16 years you wont need any help? Its a euro clone pretty much nothings really different from many other server in terms of leveling/items. The additional features are easy to work out, just play and find out for yourself as you go.

What exactly do you want to know, maybe it would be better asking here.

Can't say i have seen this tbh, hell i asked a tao with a great name along the lines of "****off" a question and he was very helpful and i mean it to! i've also been asked questions befor normally around bosses tho, think is when people are leveling or grinding they just tend to turn off, well atlest i do anyway.

Me and my girlfriend have just started playing this yesterday shes fairly new to mir and I've got alot of experience so message me for a hunt anytime, we are also looking for a low level guild. /Louwaigy 22+ wiz.

Lots ppl are just rude. Lots don't speak great English and struggle to read it. Lots people on Skype or gametalk servers. Lots people cant hunt and chat at same time. Seems strange to me to always use the same name and the same class and play with the same old people. Yes good to know who you can rely on in a tricky situation but go on be brave mix it up a little. Get a new name join a different guild. You can always tell the old crew who you used to be a few months down the line and you made some new e pals.

Finally bumped into a helpful player, he must of sat there and helped me for about 2 hours. I've been having this weird lag problem where i lag around players but other than that im fine, so he helped me try and find what it was but we had no luck. He stopped it a bit which im very greatful for. Can't remember his ingame name but anyway, thankyou, Lee, for your time on trying to help sort it out.

You just have to find the right person to ask a question, lucky i bumped into one who helped me with some kit and with my computer side issues. Thanks again. /Bench

I'm always happy to help new players with whatever i know at least, leveled a couple of noobs, also had a good couple ask me things, but also been told at the same time they've asked other's an not had a reply so shows there's still some who're willing to help, other's not so much.
