Hi,

I'm a noob at Mir 2 (only played Mir 3 before), there is one thing I don't understand in the mount system. What's the purpose of a mount having it's own DC and acc. From what I can see mount stats don't add to my character, so for example why should i buy mount items from the game shop which adds 2-4 DC for the mount?

The mount is only used to ride. Some if the game gold mounts can actually attack while you are on them. They can't even kill centipedes so buying this GG stuff is pretty much a waste.

The higher end mounts allow you to attack whilst riding them and there are areas of which they may be useful (outside ones like past bichon valleys etc)...

They have their own set of items that increase their stats, however, we haven't introduced many high end items yet, so mounts remain weak.

I guess they can also come in handy for guild/sabuk wars? They have their own health pool, so once that runs out you then have your own health to get through.

The DC from the item is too insignificant to get even for the wolf/tiger mounts. Still takes 4hits to take down a yeti. If it was something like DC10-30 or something I could see it being worth using as you could kill trash mobs in 1/2hits - helps for say, chesnut hunting or OmaWarrior hunting.

Otherwise, the melee feature on high end mounts (that you pay a lot for as it is) is unused currently.

But then, horse mounts will never use dc/acc at all.
