Multiple Downloads

I used to be able to have three downloads running at a time in internet explorer. however recently ive found that i can only have two running at the same time, it physically does not let me open a thrid

anyone know why this may be and if i might have inadvertantly changed something?.

Its cos ie wont allow you to have more than 2 but believe there is a registry tweak that may up this but I dont remember how.

Cant have more than 2 from the same site, there no global limit - iirc its been a while sinse i've used IE.

i usually use firefox, but its playing up for me. well thanx for your help.

for firefox if you type about:config in the address bar, search for connections and you should be able to tweak those
network.http.max-connections-per-server
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server

I don't use IE so I don't know where it is exactly.
