new at map making

well i d/led the map maker in the sticky thread but when i load it i get
WIL Tiles BmpArr = nil
what i do to sort this
do i need to d/l sumet else or put it in a coulder with maps e.g the mpa folder

its pretty hard to wrok out seeing as i go to mkae a map and it comes up with aload of blured colours so i can't tell what is on that bit of the map

And u have to open it in the in data fold or u dont get looks or things

You trying to make maps with 1.9? If so then I had the same problem and Toxick stated that you have to rebuild all type 2 files to type. If you have no idea what im talking about just use the 1.4 files to make maps while I figure out how to change them to type 1 lol or someone else does it.

well i got it working in 1.4 but i wanna make buildings ect how i do that?
