new m2server problem never seen b4

been running my private server for ages, now all of a sudden m2server gets a problem coming up in korean writing, then asks me if i wanna close the programe. Can sum1 help pls bcuz i hav no idea wot it is, tried dloading new server files and it stil done the exact same thing. ty in advance.

What does it say in the M2Server before you get that error? post it here please otherwise we cant help

it has this stupid error, this should be the picture of the error window i get just before it closes down.

i meant in the actual m2server window, before that box appears.

gets up to loading map files then error comes up and closes it.

Does it say what map Normally it shows u what map it cant load

nah it doesnt, its strange cuz it neva done it b4, i didnt change anythin, i then downloaded new server files and it done the same thing, i hav no idea y.

i belive thats an error with your stditems (item isnt setup right or std number is skipped /same as 1 alredy) or a map error and before replying no it isnt actually check.

i just checked my SDitems 3 times, all in chronological order.... with my maps i deleted every map bar bichon province,m and i still get the same problem

explain this guys, cuz its confused me. An hour before this error i woz playing my private server no probs, i go for some lunch come bck to restart the server. I changed nothing and now its doin this . Thx for ur help guys looks like we stuck on this 1.

We are not stuck anywhere, it just means that you done something wrong in mapinfo... it's happenned to me MANY items, and i just checked my mapinfo, fixed it and it all worked fine (like, you may have the same map twice)

i managed to fix it.... but it involved downloading geoffs server files version 2.1 and trancfering all the exe's in there to my current server files... there must have been somthjing screwed in the m2server

I had this proble and death was right it is a problem with the paths i had fogotton to put 1 backslash in one of the paths when setting up and that is the error i got.

Check the paths m8 ie c:\mirserver\etc\etc\etc
