Web, try going for a background with less happening.

Lose the alpha bar, looks a little cheap unless it's on some kind of introduction FMV of a game/movie :P

Change the font, go for something simplistic. And lose the red border on the outside. Give it a nice guassian shadow, and a glow (whichever one you choose).
