The Mirx team (oooh scandel) - i suggested way back when we first started on the files that we shoudl work - get this - as a team to make a set of files that was mostly done. In other words pool the resources of the people who know what they are doing which would have cut the time required to churn through the files into days not weeks. Even back then though - greed came into play as people wanted to put a server up fast and why on earth would they share there work....

There was if you think about it- the perfect optionas there was a web site and so forth to enable this to happen, all that was needed was a bit of direction and somebody to control the stuff - sounds real easy to me....I started as above and worked away getting the mobs, stditems etc all done so we could move onto the NPCS and so forth....

Heh, the idea of the mirx server was to test the newer features, the quests, and various other aspects of the game, a beta if you will, a player base was needed to perform some of the required tasks, it wasnt greed, it was need.
I was informed that the files were not to be released untill full english - whats the point in doing half a job?
Anyway, yes it is upto the people who choose to release, i chose to release but was forbid by the "team" so i didn't.

NMA - its all water under the bridge now tbh - all this back biting has made me a bad person - which is why i personally dont care anymore tbh... im a much happier person if i dont worry about who is doing what and get on with providing stuff etc....

Ill post the server with the 4 skills added on my forum as the limit on upload here is plain daft (100k) - look in my info for the forum.....

For the record - the chinese are working on this not me and is on the chinese forums - all i did was remove the encrtyion so it can be used with the normal txt files...

Lol the admins are allowed to be biased, theres 2 of them that i've seen so it ballances out :P
BTW, they arent machines without emotion, they can become annoyed at whatever they choose, don't take it to heart that your the current annoyance :P (One of)

And staff are people too with opinions etc We dont get paid so we dont have to be on everyones side

Anyhow, i've approached a few people about the translating, more than willing to set up a dedicated forum/repository of files/tradecenter/ whatever is required to get a full working decent set. just need the input. :P

(Btw that was to make my "Pretteh" post more productive)

Can i ask we lay all these arguements to rest? Lets put the past behind us - Ive shoved the files (both server and envir etc) on my forums which is as easy as joining and downloading a file - only reason i put it on mine was the limit on here was a bit low otherwise i would have posted it as a attachment like..

I think on the whole - we need to forget what happened before (I have) and maybe try again - as quoted - we are here to help each other and I dont think this forum is a place to **** each other off - it just makes people angry and bitter.....

My hope is that if I start the ball rolling by supllying stuff - others will follow and we can all have a nice JOB server to mess about on/ play with etc..

iv added your eiserver/magic and item db/rungate and new mir.exe, but when i cast the spells it does the correct effect, but i cant see it, all i see is the bit when the guy casts it.

MINFO.DAT - this is the key to the look, the spells reading (if you have some books that wont read) - i copied mine either from euromir or chinese client..

ok the new spells when i click on book it goes into my magic book but i carnt find it in there how do i assign the new spell to a f key please
