Hey all,

Updates on a 2 weekly basis:
So, there is not going to be any changes this weekend and in addition we are thinking of making changes on a 2 weekly basis rather than the current updates every weekend; reason for this being is a week gives us enough time to implement new features/fixes, but not necessarily enough time to test them.

Changes to the team:
Some of you may already know that thedeath is no longer part of the AceM2 Server team, he is still active in discussions on code etc so he may still be contributing to the server files, but at the moment he is on a break.

Chilipepper is also taking a break from Mir and will no longer be contributing to the files or the server until he feels he is ready.

Hazuki has now officially joined the team, although he has been floating around and helping for some time now, the loss of thedeath and chili has prompted his full time position (but he is on less money than the rest of us, he has to pay to be part of the team).

Skyline has also offered his services to try and maintain the forums and log bugs into out bug tracker so we can better manage what are hot issues and what are just moans.

Website
Like I said earlier, there are no changes to the server this weekend, but I have had a lot of questions about new skills (what they do) and items (what there stats are etc)... So this prompted me for the need of a site, which as been on the table for a while but its finally here...

http://www.acem2.com

Let me know what you think and bare in mind it is the first website I have done annnnnd it has taken me about 4 days, so there are bound to be some issues.

Eventually I would like to get trust merchant page (of which is being worked on at the moment by Sean), Ranking, Account creation etc all working via website.

Thoughts and opinions on any of the above are always welcome.

I'll try to be around as much as possible and gather as much info from you guys on ways to improve the game play.

This way I can make any necessary changes that are server side leaving the other guys with more time to look into any code side issues whilst I deal with all the little niggly issues.

Couple of spelling mistakes on the new web site.
1. In the para re Constant updates: Serer should read Server
2. In the para An ever Growning: should not have an n after w
3. In the section called What is AceM2 the word version should read versions.

Apart from that it is very good.

Easy to read and should easily draw in more players.

Well done.

If the stats on weapons are correct then the Level 50 weapons are infact worse than the Level 43 weapons.

Grats on the website but i dont understand how this warrants giving him a gm position. u don't need a gm position to log bugs onto the bug tracker and discuss hot issues.

we have come full circle again on the issue of players being GMs. did we learn nothing from that last time this happened?

He'll also be working on server side content with us and using the GM to test and confirm bugs so we can get full and better information on issues. And also interact with the Community more on the Server.

He's been a LOMCN Admin for years (and we've all known him for years). I trust him.

+1 people favor others, I don't care who disagrees, it happens and having GMs that have chars will always bring issues

No offence but the judgement of this team isn't its best quality, it wasn't all that long ago Thedeath was outcast from lomcn and his files banned from ever being released on here, yet he is apart of this team. I have heard many suspicious rumors in the past few weeks about how one of said gms (don't know which) on the current team leaked all the mon drop files to a certain guild, which tbh, would explain a lot.

If skyline is to become a GM his character should be deleted or gm position removed, as he now has emotional ties to his player his guild and other players he wouldn't have if he was made out to be a gm from the beginning.

And as for being Lomcn admin, that has never ever gave inclination of trust on this forum, i wouldn't trust the majority of the admins on here having dealt with most in one way or another in the past, they are just people, and a forum title doesn't make them anymore trust worthy.

For what it's worth, I'm more of a solo player than anything else.

I'm currently guildless, I rarely join in fights, I have no issues with any other player and I'm far from been corrupt in any server I have owned/GM'd.

If the team would like me not to play my normal character whilst I'm a GM, then that's fine by me.

I trust Skyline. TheDeathGM seemed to me the most incorruptible person alive and I liked him for that.

Good luck Skyline may corruption never get to you :)

Just a little nag really, but the 3rd top overlay screenshot that comes by states "new mobs and AI smarter AI's" but has a picture of about a 3+ year old mob and doesn't give much insight.

Perhaps it would be best to take a screenie of one of your newer bosses / one of it's cool looking moves if you have one. Besides that it looks pretty good.

Also works almost perfectly on my samsung galaxy s2 with only 1 small issue, in http://www.acem2.com/download.html the "Menu" option seems to select but not actually bring up the menu (not sure if just me, try it yourself) but yeah, besides that good work!

Skyline is trustworthy but more importantly has good morals. Far more so than I'd say 99% of people on this forum. He wouldn't destroy a game for his own benefit.

Keep up the good work as usual.
