Obtaining XmasTree/Bauble ???

Now that the duration on the new slot items has been removed what are you putting in place to allow those that did not make those items/chose not to make them on alt characters due to the expiry date.

I have all classes but knew I would only be playing the one over the Christmas event and thus that character has a number of trees however my other 4 that i decided not to play over christmas now suffer a disadvantage against any other players that played over christmas.


I suggest bringing the Christmas trees back, removing the exp from them and allowing only icicle and flakes to be harvested.
This way everyone can make a tree that was initially going to have been removed by this stage?

There is plans to make new items for the slot, it is not just for Christmas stuff

Made this point in several posts, they should have released an equivalent craftable by non-Christmas items on the reboot of removing Christmas event. Lets hope for the next reboot we will get some.

Hardly a cry thread kickey, i have plenty of trees on my main.
Just pointing out that it needs adressing.

BH when you say there are plans. Is that days? Weeks? Months?
All players should have the same opportunities now that the event has finished.
The trees and baubles either need to go or be available to all within the next couple of days due to the high stat bonus they give.

In relation to the christmas items, I had always planned for the christmas tree item to stay, as a reward for players that took part in the event and collected the items, the Christmas tree never had an expiry date if I remember right.

It's a whole new slot and new items will be created for it over time, as with everything I can not give an ETA

Xmas tree did have an expiry.
Thats why i only made them for the character i was using during the event.

Many people didnt make them at all because the slot was broken.

Maybe do a late xmas prezzie for everyone containing a tree instead of 10k gg so that those that played by the advertised item duration get a fair shot.

BH, just allow the Christmas Tree's to be tradeable and droppable (not sellable to shop though) and this won't be an issue any more.

This then allows you to add extra items for this slot at your own pace and gives those without a chance to obtain one.

FYI there was a forum post by BH explaining that these would have their expiry date removed and that there'd be something craftable added in the future. You did, in fairness, have 2 weeks to make ONE item (took me 10minutes to gather the necessary items) on any character you desired.

If you make them tradable, make them break on death, I agree I got shafted on 2 chars thinking they was expire..
It is a big jump to miss out on, gl with this Raz I only did it on my main also lol.

Seriously? Would think you'd get 10 maximum a day... Just shocked I messaged you like 3 - 4 days ago now.

Anyway I know this won't get fixed but something should be done, we will probably be waiting a month or two for a new item to be introduced into that slot.

My point is, either everyone should be able to have them or noone. (outside of the event where they should not even exist)

Every one I spoke to realised that a bug is a bug and will eventually get fixed. Also people thought that these items COULD perhaps be added longer term, so people made them with this in mind.

You should have thought about it before hand imo. Stop winging and wait. If you did not make the Xmas tree, then tuff, wait for the new added items in game.

I have made plenty for my main, I am not winging as you put it. Unlike most people who post on this forum I actually care about mir and balance rather than just what my character has and what others don't.

I'm happy enough, I don't even use my alts for anything more than subs/easy bosses so the 5%-10% stat boost will not make any difference to me personally.

If people cannot see that - Items advertised with an expiry date, that did not even work, now becoming permanent with no means for people who did not play/chose not to play/ decided not to make one due to the bug, to obtain them. This is an issue, a very poor flaw in the running of the server.

You want new people but they are instantly at a 5-10% disadvantage to anyone that played at Christmas with NO MEANS of matching that.

How should i advertise this server to friends?
Come and play this game mate, oh by the way everyone will be better than you because the staff decided to give everyone a 5-10% permanent boost that you cannot get. you might be able to get one in a few months but for now you are behind and will stay behind no matter how hard you work.

The problem is the slot was not working over Christmas due to all the issues so the items could not be used
