I fail to see how West Ham deserved to win.

Football is a game of skill correct? not luck. So.. if a team is only drawing due to sheer luck and when it get's to penalties, I don't see how they deserve to win.

All 3 of Liverpools goals were pure skill, 2 of West Hams were skill yes, but one of them was pure luck of the mistake Liverpool made, people seem to forget the fact that it was an own goal that was the only reason West Ham even got as far as penalties. The real score was 3 - 2. Liverpool deserved to win.

I did, for a couple of seconds think that West Ham were going to win as the game was drawing to an end.
But for Gerrard to score that, I jumped out of my seat!
It was a superb goal.

Both sides did well, and Liverpool came off trumps.
