Jealy being a mod is pretty funny I think, his spams awesome, most of it makes me laugh anyway .

As for the "free running" what makes this video any different from acrobatics? Most acrobats wouldn't see that as anything special.

After watching documentries from the pioneers of free running a few years back when it got big it seems that some of what free running was all about has been lost with competitions and such...

I'm no expert and that video obviously takes skills, but did free running suddenly lose what made it free?

Free running/parkour is defined as street or 'urban' acrobatics, a personal and individual interpretation of acrobatics using only the elements of your environment. It's not just jumping from one platform to another.

That's like saying you're not steet dancing because you didn't break, you didn't drop in a 6-step or body pop. There are no conditions to interpretation, because it's interpretation.

As an entertainment form, then yeah sure you either like what you see or you don't, it either grabs you or it fails. If you appreciate the skill element then you're bound to find it more entertaining, if not you're just looking at what looks cool. But it's not really fair to judge it on a misinterpreted condition of having to include elements, which are for the most part completely incorrect.

I just find it ironic, that Jealy became mod and now he abuses the rules more than ever.

It's not just about the freestyle of what you do, it's also about the element of risk you take when trying to perform some of the jumps and trying different combinations to achive your goal. The adrenalin from what I remember when we used to do it, was one of the main reasons we did it.

If i could give you valid feedback from experience i would give you, but as i have had no experience of free running my feedback would not be valid.

Seriously use an argument that actually makes sense, claiming people can't have an opinion on something because they can't do it.

Sawell makes sense, perhaps I expect to be more entertained the problem I'm having is when comparing the tournament clip to some of the worlds top acrobats it doesn't look like a 3rd best in the world.

As regards to us being bad i don't take any affense to it, as i said, we qualified third in the WORLD championships and we'll win it this year we got buckets of sponsors and travelling constantly to do work so i'm on cloud nine right now noone could burst my bubble haha.

To you other guys, thanks alot for the positive support. I only just posted it here to get more views i was pretty certain every reply would be negative but it would still +++ the views. Really suprised me that lomcn isn't just full of haters these days been a year or so since i've ever been fully active on MIR too.

I remember seeing that video of parkour somewhere before, think my mate who used to do some parkour/free running showed me it.

Gota pretty gutsy to do some of this stuff imo, one slip up you could end up seriously injured.

Prai why are you arguing such a stupid point? I meant that people are probably saying its crap compared to other free running videos they've seen. Nothing to do with them going out and trying it for themselves. Why would they call it crap otherwise? If someone called it crap without witnessing free running before that would be an opinion based on ignorance. When the **** did you become such a pseudo-intellectual?

Don't argue for the sake of arguing this thread didn't need so much debate, if you're going to say you like ti say you like it, if not then shut up this is what someone has done and put effort into, if you really dont like it then have a valid reason, something to do with free running e.g "your technique is/isnt..."
