The first hit of TDB can cause yellow, which also amplifies the 2nd AC-cutting hit (in the same swing)

It's why I see wizards die in 1 hit so often. I'm not against wizzies dying quickly, tbh. I just wish we were more of an actual threat. As it stands most warriors shrug off damage, and a tao can heal and outpot me.

Sort out shoulder dash ffs. I spent several hours pushuing level ones around 7 and they dont die. uve ****ed SD

Gents,

you can see both sides of this argument but it doesn’t mean there can’t be a middle ground...

the people who have saved & spent considerable gold on dynamic shards you can understand being upset.
the people who can see an imbalance are obviously frustrated at the powerful getting more powerful from the OP.

isnt there a middle ground where the server balances the shards to a more acceptable level and compensate people accordingly who have them.

theres not that many in the game at the moment, it’s easy for players who have them equipped to msg the GM with what they have. Perhaps a gold refund of x amount will offset any changes.

my opinion is that saying “you can’t change it now because it’s unfair” isn’t an adequate argument to leave the servers future unbalanced.
Thats the same argument as saying “I just spent 20mil on a gale neckie but the event has dropped 50 more into the game and devalued it.

That's Absurd lol, that means that any warrior at level 40 can potentially one hit an unshielded level 40 Wiz or 2 hit with shield (Is double FS a thing on here? That's a scary thought.)

Base DC, WSB, x2 Power Ring, 2x Death Gauntlet, G Bead, Dc Stone L = 17-63DC or 63-233 FS Damage
Base DC, DSS, x2 Boundless Ring, 2x 8Trib, G Bead, Holy Dc Stone = 16-80DC or 59-296 FS Damage

Wiz HP at 40: 192; Gulp.

On every server I've played a wiz could get downed with FS if his shield wasn't up? Maybe I've been playing too many med/high rates but that always seemed the norm to me - gotta keep that bubble up!!!

On normal servers the FS multiplier is only 2.6x DC so you would need roughly 75DC and MAX hit to down a level 40 wizard.

On here the multiplier is 3.7x (so i'm told) which means you only need 52DC to do the same... therefore its much easier to achieve and is much more likely to happen.

In addition to that, when a wizard does have his shield up, its roughly 20% less effective on here compared to official/other servers.

I think bubble is normally 66.66% damage reduction isn't it? This means you take roughly 51% more damage here compared to shield on other servers, I can only imagine how OP wizzes would be with a 66% shield on here haha.

He will prob up shield when he nerfs wiz dps

66% shield? Pretty sure 30-40-50%.. It was bugged on one server where it was giving 70% at level 3.

Sounds like its getting very complicated, to the point where you will continuously need to nerf or alter shards, gems and stats across the board just to keep up with the alterations that keep happening. Chaos begets chaos.
I miss the original Dragon server, where it was simple stuff for simple people.

the longer term plan with shards, is to make it so you can make dynamic class shards

meaning if you get a blue,blue,blue item your not completly stitched as a warrior for example, meaning you will always be allowed 1 dynamic shard on an item, however the other two slots would be useless for a warrior. The new class shards means, for a little extra work you can now make dynamic dc shards that can go into any colour slot.

This offers every item available to your class, however will cost a little more
