Try Repatching your client, it will download a new mir2.exe which should fix this problem.

Thank you for the replys guys, I just a reply from Chronicles and seems there was an issuse their end they have now sorted that and things are running ok now, so anyone else with the same problem just patch up/ or re-d/l and the jobs a gooden!

Regarding Connection issues / being disconnected from server
Potential Fix -

Why are you running C* 6.* in the background?
i dont think using such a programm while playing mir is allowed O:
Now that i have installed the Chronicles .exe, the Patcher stops halfway through download. (got latest)
Whenever i start to patch it shows 1.5GB for download and stops when d/l maps with 680 MB left.
Message tells me: File can´t be saved, because its in use.
Have to do it all over again every time. Still the game opens though with the correct gameclient - guess i just miss maps/tiles/etc. At the moment my lvl seems too low to encounter problems in game from this.
Any hint apreciated. Thx

i cannot find a working link to the new patcher anywhere on your facebook/forum or website. ive got no way of connecting to the game it sucks @ss
After patching to the latest version, i cannot open client anymore. Dumped all files and restarted d/l process via patcher, but won´t get it working anymore. Message says: "Lack the required client files, can not run."
Also i could never resolve my patch problem when it stops d/l at file 0m3.map with the message that it is used by another prorgamm.
Lacking the time and will to try and work it out now. Maybe when 2.0 arrives i give it another try, but doubt it.

Ensure you have the latest patcher, actually insure you have our installer and it is run as Admin to avoid any problems.

thx for your reply, i did all that, since you posted a fairly concludent guide to it, even for non-native speakers. It seems a problem with running WinXP on a MacOS bootcamp partition. As M$ stopped support for XP and removed the keys for it, i dont dare to try reinstalling all of it and dont have an image of that partition atm.
Personal i am lacking the IT-knowledge to do much more as it takes me twice the time or more to get a clue and i was lucky to get that far.
Wish you well with the server, it was fun and i might have more time to try patch 2.0 .

hi im new and want to play this game but i have the same problem as others .
i downloaded the latest patch from the mirchronicles server and started the patcher and it just stops at 2638 files
file name is data/cbohum3.wzl i tried restarting and it doesnt help. ( and yes i run as admin ) and virusscanner is off
cost me a whole night ( 10 hours ) and its still stuck there can anyone help me ?
i dont know what to do anymore

Hi , this topic is to help those of you experiencing issues with our patcher, and get your client ready for live.
Tips
- Make sure you have the latest patcher - Link found here - http://www.mirchronicles.com/downloads/Patcher_V202.rar (May help those experiencing issues with patcher re-downloading client)
- Installing the patcher - We recommend you to Create a New folder/ Rename it Chronicles in your C:/ Directory, and Place the "ChroniclesPatcher.exe" inside and run the patcher from here to install the client.(Should help those experiencing issues with UnauthorizedAccess Error Message)
- If you use Anti-virus software, add the "ChroniclesPatcher.exe" to its exceptions list - (If you don't know how to do this, a quick google search of your Software program should provide plenty of guides on this)
- Running the patcher as Administrator - Right Click "ChroniclesPatcher.exe" and select "Run As Administrator from the drop down menu.
- Client Keeps Deleting Data - Open your "patcher.ini" File and Change "DELPROMPT=false" to "DELPROMPT=True" and Save (This is only a quick fix and will prompt you each time it wants to delete something, please post your Patchers "Logger" info below)

Hi, i tried to log in numerous times earlier, but it keeps saying wrong client version even though i downloaded the latest autopatcher, any idea what could be wrong?
