Hi all, sorry for the delay, we had a few issues and also decided to add another world boss.

please see list below:

Players:


  • Double slash has had a rebalance which is now replicating a good amount of damage as intended.
  • SwiftFeet has an increased up time. The cooldown is still large, we may reduce in upcoming patches.
  • FlameDisruptor has recieved a 12% damage decrease as this was far to powerful.
  • Thunderstorm has been given a 20% damage increase until we put in a more stable consistancy fix.
  • TDB for warriors will now yellow 30% less
  • TDB has also had its damage reduced by 7%
  • PoisonSword now works 100% of the time.

Monsters


  • Bosses have had a hp increase and a damage increase on certain ones. This was due to the sourness of euro style dungeons and players reporting how easy they were to solo/duo kill.
  • OmaKingSpirit has been reverted from its very difficult to spawn state to its much easier state now, which will happen from time to time due to expected circumstances This will global shout and will be considered a world boss.
  • MirKing Has been added to the game and similarly to OKS it will spawn on a certain trigger.
  • Agility has been lowered on many bosses to counter melee classes missing so much.
  • CrystalSpider has been given a lightglow.

General


  • TrustMerchant now correctly shows the price of sale items.
  • (H) sets have had stats adjusted.
  • Pot regen has been lowered to aline with euro style pot increase.(people will moan but its now correct)
  • Sun pots have been given a 3 second delay.
  • Exp has returned to normal from the 1.1 buff for 48 hours.
  • RedOrchid and RedFlower set no longer work as a protectionring . Now working correctly with lifesteal.
  • Npc changes.
  • We have incorporated a system that indicates any lag caused by the server.exe and will now log the information so we can pinpoint the errors and fix as soon as they happen. This should enable us to locate the exact issue and finally resolve the lag problem. (we have already located the immediate big lag spike we just had, trying to replicate now.)

Refining: I can put into the shop tonight, however we have to edit the text, as there was a storyline about the locations etc, so we are doing so now and will implement once completed which can be done while server is live.

I will update shortly with upcoming fixes, including the HunterTankpet which wasted 40 minutes of our downtime! I will explain all shortly.

To me this is a make or break moment for a server.

Massive game breaking bug that has potentially given those abusing it, their friends and guilds a massive advantage over the rest of the server. (pro ring bug)


How the GMs react to this will mean a lot for where things stand in the future if someone uncovers a bug.

1) Mass bannings of everyone involved in clearly cheating / abusing this bug (including guilds and regular grouping buddies who have also benefited?)

2) Server rewind back to the point the first one of this rings dropped preventing anyone having gained an advantage?

3) Softly softly approach, nothing actually happens and those involved including their friends who have benefited for the most part walk away having exploited a bug and nothing happen.


So what is the official stance and what is being done about those who have abused the bug in game - its clearly against your own TOS that you've posted.

I hope you mean only the worthwhile bosses like dd etc, and left the lower ones like ec, u will get crys how easy lower ones are but leave something for solo players who dont enjoy leveling 24 hours a day

You genuinely mental ?? You need to ease into these things and see how they play. You can't change bosses pots and sun pots in one reboot.

I think its is about as big of an overreaction as i can see, you act like a pro ring is omg amazing.

On a high rate a pro ring is god like, on a low rate server, with players lower than 40 its not a big deal at all.

With regards to those who abused our TOS we will deal with them in our way once we go through the logs to see who used without reporting. In terms of a server rewind because people saved some gold on hp pots is a little dramatic.

A bug that changes the server will be dealt with accordingly. This is not that at all. Im not sure where your information about pro rings come from, but its not from a low rate.

Huge nerf to warriors with the tdb changes. Pretty sure people only complained about tdb stunning too much in pvp or against bosses... but the nerf messes levelling too. Lvl3 TDB used to stun 3 to 4 of every 5 mobs in PB, now it stuns 1 in every 5, usually on the last hit - that stun increases dmg so this is a huge dmg nerf - to tdb's base damage and the fact yellow stun never happens anymore.

The tip of thrusting did more dmg than lvl3 tdb pre-patch, I was expecting a tdb damage buff but to make it our best dps spell, as it should be. Now I guess I have to go back to thrust-kite lvling? Madness

we had players with 65DC hitting 120sX2, i cant take your response with merit when i have been watching this. i put a warrior with 88 dc on (which is not that good gear btw) and hit a 160X2, thats 320 damage, in a few months 88 damage is going to be average. Imagine a top end warrior.

30% yellow less is a huge nerf .. 15-20% less is more reasonable tbh.
Especially when u nerfed the HP regen at the same time there is no chance i can tank a proper sub with 1 or 2 mobs at the same time now, where warriors shoud be able to, although the 7% tdb damage nerf is on point. Regards

That is true but also in a few months wiz/tao/archer will also have more hp/higher stats too, you cant base a future average kit on whats happening now, i dont know where these 120x2 are coming from im averaging like 20-30x2 haha, and lets say he did hit a 120x2, that could be max luck hit ie a dc88 hit? Its rng and majority he will hit average the odd time a big hit, same with any class..

Crazy patch, gone well further backwards. Playing lvl 32 warrior, was able to hunt psc for about an hour before repotting... Now woth mob damage increased it's barely 10-20 mins before I'm back in town.
Recommend you sort it out quick, can't imagine this will go down well.

Still no refining too? I'm 90% sure you just been sending everyone on a wild goose hunt while ye were trying to get it ready.

I appreciate the work you've done but this Server was no where near ready and should have been delayed another 3 years for actual testing.

Even if it is ingame... its RNG on items that drop it could be 1/1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

And still drop first day... so you asking how a pro ingame already is abit retarded.

No pro ring ingame, there was an error moving the text files over which selected proring instead of lifesteal on a redorchid ring, reverted now.

Couldn't make this up, it’s a little too far all at once.

I dunno, I think it's fine personally. Just makes guild hunting that much more important :)

Lol @ the guy asking for a server wipe for the pro ring bug.
