Petition to put server up earlier

Launch day can be hectic: getting acquitted with old buddies, planning a guild, choosing your new enemies and alliances.... by launching at 9pm there isn't much time to get settled in.

Seems rather pointless to put the server up at 9pm when the night is almost at an end. People who pull all-nighters will just be way ahead of everyone.

If you wanna have a better launch that's more fair to everyone , 5-6 pm would be better since we'll have more hours to play before the first day ends.

I have to say the all nighter argument means whilst your sleeping they get ahead, whilst they are sleeping you catch up. etc etc. its a cycle.

Totally agree, its just our work hours that is holding us back, we would rather launch a slight bit later and be sure everything is as good as can make it. Than rush it and something simple go wrong because we didint have the time to have 1 final check through!

7:30 on a friday isnt too late though so hopefully people are ok holding off one extra hour.

I think 7:30 is a good time (for the UK anyway) as it means people are all back from work, had their food and ready to go!

Earlier means people have to rush from work etc + means I can get all my **** done for the other half, and then justify being a slob in my PC chair for the night.

You know the hype is good when people are begging for it to be released early can see this server having a nice high starting population. Even more so because its Mir 2! Had almost half of my old Mir friends not come to Zircon just because its Mir 3
