I thought the exact same Tai, but now I'm sick of plugging my iPod into my xbox to listen to some music on it, need a media center pc and/or a data cable for xbox to put some music on my HDD, the cables come with 120gb HDD, so I don't have one -.-

Oh, and off topic but the black xbox (elite) comes with 120gb hdd, and the hd cable. However new xbox's get that now so all you get is a 120gb hdd and, just general black-ness. Oh and more expensive accessories i've found.

I have my xbox connected to my pc with the cable that came with it (the internet cable) as i am not paying £60 for a wireless adapter when i can just bridge the connection from my pc. Media center on the 360 isnt all tha good apart from when i download my pirated films to watch but then again i have my HD tv connected to my pc to use as a monitor so pretty pointless.

I have a elite is it possible to play HD dvds through it? Obviously it wont be blue ray as thats sonys but are the red cased HD films ok to use?

As far as i'm aware you can play HD dvd's in elites, if you have an older version (core/premium etc) you can buy the player seperately.

Right if you brought the 40gb version it's incapable of back track i think.

the 60gb version is capable of back track. by the sounds of it mate you went and brought the 40gb lol

Yeah a lot cheaper.. A standalone HD DVD Player is about €500 over here whereas the 360 HD DVD Drive is €170
