Anyone who plays down what an acheivment this has been for us needs shooting.
We conceeded one goal the whole tournament and in the process knocked out arguably the best team in the country - Manchester United.
People will always disregard this final as it didnt have one of the big four in. People suggest this tournament has lost its edge, again because the power four arent there.
Take heed. Next year when its Man U v Chelsea in the final people will pay the tournament respect again.
Well Done Pompey and to teams like Havant And Waterlooville, Barnsley, West Brom, Cardiff, Oldham and Bristol Rovers. All of these teams acted to give us the most openly contested tournament in years.

I'm a Man Utd fan, and even i must admit it was a nice change to see two "smaller" teams in the final.
Would have liked Man Utd to have done the big treble along with the Championship and the soon to be ours Champions League title, but there's always next year. :P

Been played down coz anywhere in the world u will find a manu fan (apart from manchester) and pompy or cardiff havnt got the biggest fan base so no1 really to shout about it, i'm sure everyone gives full credit though.
Not playing it down was great to see one of the big four not win it (least we got knocked out by the winners) but you cant say the final was interresting? It was boring. Imo Cardiff shouldnt even be in the English FA Cup their in the Welsh FA.

But Cardiff play in the English league...therefore of course they should be in the English FA Cup.
i would say well done Pompey but i'm from Southampton so i shall keep my comments to myself :P lol
abit late but well done to pompey, scrappy match but they got what the deserved, well done to cardif also, now the skates heads will get bigger then they were before this.

Portsmouth had a great tournament and deserved it. I'm also glad that Harry Redknapp got an award.

I went to the semi's and the final , it was amazing
