anyone remember the gambling house on euro? personally i thought it was a right laugh!
anyway just an idea for an event.
get mobs (any mob) to drop gambling tokens, then have a npc in town to use. now my idea is to roll against the npc (even use the old 2x 6 die from euro) so if you roll higher you win tier 1 and get an item i.e gg hard torch or normal hard torch. you then get the option to gamble to roll again, obv risking the item u were offered.
this could go to tier say 15. each time getting better and better items/books/exp pot/weps, just imagine getting a SOWG/BoS at teir 12 and thinking oooo risk another roll for an uber item, then loosing it
.
after each win you could just choose not to risk said item and collect then starting again from tier 1.
point of event is to encourage hunting mobs for the tokens and needing lots of them if you want to reach the higher tiers and trying to get the better items, im sure someone will say no because it will flood the market with items/weps/books. I personally doubt that, try rolling 2 dice against a friend and winning 10-15 times on the bounce.
any way just an idea
