Question regarding luck for wizies

Been told different things regarding the effect that luck has for a wizard, been told it only affects non AOE spells, whilst I've also been told it only affects lightning, firewall, tbolt.

Could a gm please elaborate on this? Be nice to know if its worth actually investing into making a luck 7 weapon before shelling out a lot of cash for a disappointing result.

Idm using ff to hit 300 every cast bud..FD is affected by MR, and doesn't hurt at all compared to FF, you sir need to stop dropping and raging so hard ;p

Dropping? last time i checked forsaken dropped us luck7 and 3 slow boundless ring.

The fact that you are asking for more damage on wizzys indicates what type of player you are (**** one).

I have 51 MC and i hit 120+ with FD... dunno what your on about
The base may need upping on the skill that may be it as it does fluxuate alot. Then again thats probably because most MC kits on here have no base MC.

Wizzies don't need any of their skills upping, you have enough power in FF/Blizz/Met/Lightning/Shield/Clone and FW to do just fine.

I think FF and Bliz are OP compared to regular spells is what I'm saying, 300ff 3x3 AOE vs 100Hp fds affected by MR, huge difference in skills, why have 1 stupidly OP and the other unused ;l
Mb/Bliz/FF, yawn.

I agree, but FD doesn't need raising, MB and FF need lowering! Blizz and Met are supposed to be high burst damage, but FF is stupid on here.

Wizzies are junk without spells(FF/Blizz/MB). That is the problem. Just FC machines until then.

Wizzys are finally on Par. I just personally think MB needs a small nerf. Its just a little crazy once a wiz hits 52 you are in trouble, but even then wizzys are still killable 1v1.

I wouldn't say wizzys are crazy op (but then I play a warrior so they cant 1 hit me) if they are 1/2 hitting people with FF its a little silly. but as I say I think that's more to do with MB rather than FF.

Keep MB damage the same but throw some curse in there; you're focusing all your energy into a spell but it's damage is highly unpredictable.

A high level wiz with shield up could have 4 sins on them hit a big FF or 2 and wipe that whole group. That's a bit OTT.

I was playing with loose cannon yday and although he is **** he can still pretty much 1 hit me thru sheild with his tdb
