Right, just wondering, exactly what do I need to do to host files for autopatch?

It has to be done on an FTP site right? How do I go about setting that up? Really unsure how to go about this, any advice appreciated.

Surpass are dead helpful.. and quite cheap (£3 a month for 200Gb's web space and 2 Tb's a month download on a shared Server).

But the real benefit is their customer service is fantastic! Check our their forum's. Don't think anyone thinks bad of them!

500GB Disk Space, Unmetered Bandwidth, 10 Domains

As low as $14/month << that what you mean? Works out as £8.61 a month plus £9.83 for a years domain registration, not bad. Might sign up for this once I've found a dedi line.

500G is a waste if you are not going to use all of that.

If you only need to host a few gigs of files, I can give you some space for 1 GBP per month.

and you can use the dedi line for mir traffic, so no lag while people download patch.

Well I know what you mean kaori, the unmetered bandwidth is not bad though. I would probably use the remaining gigs to store files that I don't wanna lose lol. Got about 300 gigs of data on disks atm lol.

If they are important files, there are other ISPs that do online backup. (mozy.com is $5/month for unlimited) Then how long does it take to upload/download 300G, 2 weeks?

Also it's probably cheaper in a long run if you buy a hard drive and back it up. Put it in a safe or safety box at the bank.

I have a few hundred gigs of stuff. I am using a second hard drive using raid 1. Also backups to an external drive and it's in a safe.

You still willing to do this Kaori?
