Hi Sam do you think that the people who have been BANNED could be removed from the rankings plz.

I believe this should happen as so people know where they really stand within them and no where they stand with most of them who ain't there any more(due to being banned)

why? they did the levels so why move em, not all cheats were anything to do with lvls, if it bothers you so much, level past em.

All cheats generally have something to do with levels, botters are either gaining exp with the bot or gold to buy better gear to lvl faster, nearly every speed hack ive ever come across increases your attack speed as well. All you have to do is delevel them before they are banned like the other servers used to.

Why is this a thing?
You know where you stand because you know who u have levelled past.
There been calls to name and shame which were ignored. de levelling people names and shames. What about the people who stopped playin and might be back?

what has that got to do with delevelling the people that have been banned? no1 is asking for inactives to be removed from the rankings, they are asking for people who have been banned to be removed.

Why? U can tell when you levelled past someone. DO you always know if the ones you went past were cheats or inactives?
What difference does it make? Especially when this would name and shame which the team seem not to want to do
You might get to be number 32 intead of 42 Does it matter enough for the team to bother about right now?

Personally, I like to see the list.. it's no harm, those who don't give a fk don't have to look at it .. The banned people should defo be removed

Or have (banned) after their name, though that does feel a bit like shaming. Then again, they probably deserve to be shamed if they were banned. Just sayin'.

the statues for highest lvl were fine, i prefer the old anonymity system, the mystery of not knowing who was what lvl. you should have an opt out choice! A tick box to remove yourself.

If you take them off the ranking your effectively "naming and shaming" so I doubt this will be changed. Maybe put an inactive timer like guild board does.

And where's the issue in shaming someone who has a "Known Cheater" title on LOMCN (if they're active) and has been banned for cheating? They.. deserve.. to be shamed?

There seems to be a policy in most gaming of not naming and shaming.
I suppose its because
naming a cheat alerts all his mates to be more careful and shows which cheats not to try using and that its time to make some different ones.
I know that all males have to have their hierarchies and alpha status clear or they get anxious and twisted but just focus on someone 5 or so places ahead of you and try to level past them. It will make you feel better.

I haven't read anything about the titles being temporary, and why should they be? Swamp will still be a known cheater 2 years down the line, even if he never cheats again (sorry Swamp, only off-hand example I have :P).

I also know of no policy of "no naming and shaming" in other MMOs or Mir. What do you think PK village is for? R&R? On Euro it's always been a petting zoo where the just and righteous (and asinine) go to gawk at and mock the less righteous/more asinine (and make them mass drop like WT if they move out of SZ).

Plus, all of a cheat's "mates" already know he was caught/banned and that they should be on alert, whether BH/Sam make his name public or not. What, if you and 5 close friends you play Mir with all cheat and you get banned you don't tell the other 5 to watch out unless the GM publicly labels you a cheater? If anything, other cheaters who find out only because of the "shaming" on the ranking page (that almost nobody looks at) stop cheating or tone it way down, which are, imo, both good outcomes.
