People who can afford £4 an hour for exp pots probably work and have less time to play than those who don’t work/can’t afford/have a lot of playing time, surely that evens it out a little?

Even if people buy them pots it still boils down to who’s got the most time in game as per.
Don't think so. ppl who buy 40% exp are those that pay for levelling services AND exp pots. They will do ANYTHING to look good in mir.
The other type are the ones who see it as an investment and will make their cash back when they sell the char

I’m impressed by the server and the work the Gms have put into launch, however I’m gobsmacked the same hard working guys who dedicated Hours into this server can make such stupid decisions within a few days of server launch that’s caused unresolvable damage in regard to the EXP pot fiasco. GG exp boost should be expensive and very short term, if at all in my opinion.

so perhaps they have got it right now. However having the initial launch and a few players gaining unfair advantage is unacceptable in my opinion. Fees a little corrupt... what a huge shame. Let’s hope it can be fair from now onwards.

Sounds like a right mess, judging by this thread.

Hope I'm wrong but so far sounds like a typical P2W server.

we made an error with the game shop by putting a reboot up with a exp pot at a small price. we then corrected that issue this reboot allowing those that missed out still to gain the advantage. the Gameshop has no perm advantages and is completely accessible by drops from bosses.

People are moaning that we have not put enough long term stack-able buffs in the game. And that means P2W?

I expect this from some users, but not from the admin team, i thought they would clearly see this was the opposite.

If we made it the other way around, the gap between those who do donate and those who do not, is MASSIVE, say stack able postions of 10% per week, 10% per month, 20% per hour etc etc means 40% constant vs people who dont choose to donate. We tried to balance it by only offering 40% for one hour.

Just a little suprised at this response from someone who has been here and watching servers for so long and knows that more often servers are successful with these type of potions. I appreciate that the last year or so Jamies server changed the outlook on potions, but we reflected on this and saw players reaching above 70 and we cannot have success on our type of server with this EXP.

Sorry, I didn't mean any offence by it. Was more looking for peoples opinions in my theory.

But from what i have read, it's near £5 for a 1hr EXP pot - Which seem very steep to me and it's only going to be those who can afford it/willing to afford it that will be using them in time.
Not saying that they should last weeks or months, but at least make them a little more affordable to everyone else or make them last a few hours longer.

I don't know - Maybe I'm just a dinosaur and not used to seeing such prices on GameShops - I didn't play Chronicles (Only first week or so) so can't really compare the prices with any other server other than Zircon as I had a long period away from the game.

As I said, no offence. I've not properly played Apoc yet, but I'm sure I will do soon.
