Taos are not meant to hurt.

There a support class ffs, Your meant to heal/bless/Puri/Poison and annoy with pets

If you want to do 1000 damage in a5x5 area play a wizard.

Just for a minute, turn the brain on... right NOW! What if nobody will play more a tao 'couse is too boring to be played??? Ok you can safely turn your brain off again! (no offense, it was just a joke ;) )

Just for some clarification, I lowered its top end, so it won't have as many 100+ hits, but also upped its lower end... Overall its average is alot better... hits more 40-60 rather than 5-10/80-100.

Your talking about the hit effect (FW) and not the poison effect so personally i only se this in pvp to stop a warrior running not to hurt them with poison...
Mobs i only use on moths or to pull mobs as most mobs don't walk into it like (FW)

needs looking into, i totally agree with it not stacking but the hit chance is a joke in pvp, at level 2 by time i get the chance to curse a warrior he's in my face hitting me thats cause most the time am there just spamming curse just to get a hit in and lets remember it doesn't last as long so really have a think about that hit rate on players and i know taoist are support class but it doesn't mean we should be open to attacks.

Not i don't know if this is how you guys want it to be but i notice deva doesn't follow the tao once it start attacking infact it teleport to the mob sometimes and also when did deva become undead making it possible to TurnUndead?

Not moaning or anything you guys are doing a great job so far and they might be more important things to attend to at the moment but just giving my feedback and to be very honest sometimes the server just feels anti taoist as some spells don't work as they should and then you get warrior and wizard dealing great damage and it feels as the few defensive spells we have are being limited...

This is the problem! I'm a meat grinder in PVP, but taos want to play PVE sometimes... (read up plz, i'm talking about damage over a "lvling mob")... I don't know... make players immune to holy damage and boost us just on holy but.... we need more power to hunt, trust me please.

Thanks for the feedback, we will look at each of them. With regards to being Anti Tao, it's interesting cause if you ask Warriors it's Anti Warrior and if you ask Wizards it's Anti Wizard lol. We're not anti any class, we just want a balance and getting that balance just isn't easy. Feedback like yours helps though so please keep doing it.

The main issue I see here, is that there's no specialization for taos. I strongly feel they're supposed to remain the support class, and yes, that just means buffing, puri'ing, poisoning and being a massive nuisance to the enemy. They're still 1v1 gods and always should be. if 2 teams fought, 1with and 1 without a tao, it's more likely the one with a tao will win due to poisons alone.

If you want to do damage you should be playing a wizzard or a warrior or (soon) assassin/archer.

However I do need to add, that I strongly feel you should make Holy / Undead damage more of an aspect for tao's. Tao's lore are that they're the anti-undead holy class... but this means **** all in Mir at the moment. Perhaps if you made Holy a useful stat for tao's / a stat they could achieve to get on their items more, and then make Undead dungeons/caves/boss's where without X amount of Holy in the team, you're not even going to dent them.

Frankly something like this I feel would give tao's that little bit extra usefulness. Their PVP status won't (and shouldn't) change, but their usefulness in groups becomes huge.

Just one of the many things I'd plan to add into my server.

Playing a tao is not boring, you never loose 1v1, leveling costs you nothing and it requires a HELL of lot more skill to play a tao than a warrior/wizard.


Like the guy said, your doing it wrong. Tao's are not a burst damage class the sooner you get that into your head the quicker you'll start to enjoy it.

None of the skill i point out have anything to do with the output of damage am talking about defensive spells Deva which does damage yes but am on about it being able to TU and not follow once attack, Hallucination doesn't enslave mobs which is cool if thats how its meant to be and the hit chance on Curse for players as been lower. I've always play a tao no matter the server so i know the time needs putting into a tao when it comes to killing bosses or leveling so the damage output i aint so much bother about.

Hallucination, hallucinates a target and makes it attack the nearest object... It is not designed to "enslave" targets lol... If it enslaved then it would effectively be giving a tao 2 summon-able pets + an unlimited amount of tameable pets.

I have used Hallucination officially and it is working as designed.

I have used Hallucination officially and it is working as designed.

If you hallucinates one target it become friendly however if it kills a target you don't get exp and if you hallucinates another nearby target they start attacking each other....
Enslaving the mob doesn't make it your pet just friendly

So honestly I'm tired and confused. Are people happy with the current Poison Cloud as it is on Server. If not why.


The thing is, your never gonna please everyone untill there particular class is the op one, no one likes damage reductions made to there class, but they need to suck it up and deal with it, if thats how it is, then thats how it is....
If people are acting this way now, how on earth will the new archer + assassin class's ever be balanced?

You need more feedback from more people, instead of reading the troll posts of 2-3 people, this is the minority. (surly everyone would be on here flooding the place if it was that bad?)
(i say troll posts because they come off passively aggressively and seem one way, instead of constructively, friendly and from a larger point of view)

Wizz = glass cannon, they should hit hard, die fast, aoe, slow, solo alot of boss's, level super fast, tame pets and kite people like a "ring arounda posse's"

Taos = should be the most annoying class, pets witch can be summoned again and again, low/medium damage skills, self/pet heals, buffs, damage over time, medium amount of hp, soloing some boss's, slows/debuffs on people, Taos are in it for the long run/wearing people down over time and kite people round till no end.

Wars= high hp, med damage skills with the odd chance to hit hard, soloing very few boss's..... and ermmm............chase people about like there on a peice of string, waiting for there opportune moments to strike for that high damage hit.



And i do believe taos level up really fast.
Taos used to be the hardest and longest class to play in this game at one point, certainly not that way now.

(im not siding with any class's so dont start trollololloling, as i might fall of my chair :lol)




PS, Hallucination is supposed to send unlimited amounts of targets crazy, not enslave it.

Thats two crystal spiders you guys have killed, one level 7 before 11 am reboot... cos i came on early as you said it was an afternoon reboot and then another when you rebooted server 5 mins after you put it up! :(

Appreciative of the server an all but that sucks! :(

btw there is still auto lock for warrior vs warrior pvp.
u should also avoid hits when walking .. avoid most of the hits (not all) u doin if someone keeps walking..

Hits should only be avoided when running, anybody can be hit while walking, its always been that way.

Hits should only be avoided when running, anybody can be hit while walking, its always been that way.

only being avoided when running? did u play any mir mate? ... used to avoid hits walking either.
especially on the last 2-3 mirs ( usa, forever ) u could avoid warrior hits while walking.. not all the hits but like 8/10 hits(if someone is fast) if someone is slow u could avoid easy every hit by walking...(sorry for my bad eng><)

You dont think taos level alot faster now? or have it alot easyer now? compaired to older version of mir?
Im not gonna get into it, simple. people who have played mir along time know exactly where im coming from.
