the thing is u take off auto lock for wizard and taoist(1target spells) and u keep auto lock for warriors? for me its fine as im a warrior lol=P

So honestly I'm tired and confused. Are people happy with the current Poison Cloud as it is on Server. If not why.
Hi milo ill give my input about poison cloud. as it is its fine for me besides when the main dmg is finished it does nothing else. I tested it on some lowish mobs and the ones that lived didn't lose anymore hp they were just green. now thisbrings me to the problem ive done a post about . in poisons current state we have to green to get red then do cloud and then redo green to get a tick poison hp drain. make red poison be 1st to be applied. and secondly beside mobs who the hell is going to run in the cloud . I think it should be an area effect and everthing it hits keeps being hit as if they were standing in the cloud. but that's just me and prob to hard to do. but im all in favour of cloud just being an area red and green poison. and having a area effect sfb which can be lower in dmg then single but at least we can join exp grps and do something beside hide and heal.. ty that's my thoughts

As explained in another thread we didn't touch AutoLock/MagicLock or anything related to that code. What we changed was a range check on Skills to match official. We will be making changes to other aspects of PvP but it's not in this update.

Thanks Ninje, I'll get Sam to read your post and see what he says.

Server is also back sorry about the extra downtime.

You dont think taos level alot faster now? or have it alot easyer now? compaired to older version of mir?
Im not gonna get into it, simple. people who have played mir along time know exactly where im coming from.



obviously i know nothing....
let me load up a original 1.4 euro mir server and ill get back to you with the awncer yes?

1.4 server lol Real euro code was released that has all the good info.

If you hallucinates one target it become friendly however if it kills a target you don't get exp and if you hallucinates another nearby target they start attacking each other....
Enslaving the mob doesn't make it your pet just friendly

Again, Mir2Resource is a fan made site, they got it wrong. The current hallucination is based from the Phili source code which is official code.

For me my main gripe with the game is that it isn't the Legend of Mir it's more Legend of Wizards. Take leveling for example. 2 wizards together can level at an astronomical rate and apart from pity on their fellow gamer they have no reason to take a Warrior or a Taoist with them. I'm not saying it should be on equal footing but I find it ridiculous that as a Tao if I want to chill out and go on a solo hunt I'm confined to somewhere a level 30 wizard can solo just as well.

My main nuke I gained at level 18 and has been my main form of attack since then. My pets even at level 7 are sub-par and usually get TUed by a wizard by the time I get to the place I want to hunt anyway. On top of all of that to perform my main nuke that does crap damage anyway I have to carry around stacks and stacks of Amulets which as far as I can see are tedious and completely unnecessary.

Wizards aren't glass cannons, they have a shield that makes them take next to 0 damage, they have insanely over powered pets that when you have 5 of them and leveled can solo bosses on their own with little to no assistance, they have a spell that can 1 shot undead mobs and to top it all off when you combine 2 of them together you can kill hoards and hoards of mobs with ease. This is before you even get to the fact that they have super powerful single target nukes.

I find Mir extremely fun and I have played loads of MMOs since I first played this game. People need to stop living in the past and by these strict guidelines that Taoist should never be allowed to do any damage and the only thing Warriors are good for is carrying pots while we all watch Wizards kill stuff. Some of the fat needs to be trimmed and I think it could definitely be balanced a lot better in certain areas.

It's been up for discussion before from John but don't think any feedback reached. Possible solutions would be:

1) Make Deva living pet so it cannot be TU-ed
2) Make tao pets have the same lvl as the owner (not refering to the pet color)
More ppl can come with more ideas.

At least this way the damage of the pet would scale with the level of the owner. Wildgirl being level 50 would be able to solo content of an appropriate level.

I love the work the devs are doing on this server but you seem to get caught up on trivial things rather than the root issues for classes. Whether poison cloud does 1 damage or 1000 damage it doesn't matter that one skill isn't the issue with the class. If I'm on ST 7th on my tao and get mobbed by a bunch of enemies it takes me ages to kill my way out of it. If I use a Poison cloud the off screen bug bag maggots have already replaced the ones I killed. A level 24 wizz does a better job at clearing the enemies than my 45 Tao.

As is stand's im just a portable HP pot. Give the wizards green poison and you might as well remove Taos from the game all together. Looking at the assassin skill set when they are introduced Taos will be redundant.
