hey guys and (maybe??) girls

played mir chronicles when it 1st came out. managed to get to abt lvl 30/31? on my war (Flame)
used to play p server on euro as Flame (war) Deggers (war) and dwayne (wiz) kinda got bored on here due to the never ending promise of 2.0 that never seemed to happen lol.. i loved mir and prob always will. i enjoy it as a pass time and not as a life choice (u know what i mean)

just wondering if its worth coming back to.. does chronicles support the casual player? or do u still need to dedicate ur whole life to actually get anywhere?

let me know

thanks

matt

As a casual player never expect to achieve anything, that's how I always found it.

Like with most mmorpgs, as a casual player youre never going to compete with those who have more time. Similary, youre never going to compete with the pay to win people. You can still find fun in mir, chronicles is a good server in terms of its stability but admittedly new content is regularly promised but rarely materialises, mainly because the team spread themselves too thinly.

If your playing is 'mirs a small time hobby for me' then thats respectable, but be realistic about where you'll sit in the 'heirarchy'.

This is actually false, a lot of MMO's put limits on boss kills each week, a casual player can easily compete. Back in WoTLK my friends and I only raided twice a week, 1 day to clear to LK heroic and 1 day to progress LK heroic, each night was only around 2 hours of playing. Same with PvP(Honor/Conquest cap), but I am awful at that :/

However MMO's like without a level cap cause the casuals to have a horrid time gameplay wise, or you can only keep up if you have lot's of "£££"

If im absolutely honest i didnt understand 90% of the first paragraph in your post dude. I should probably also point out that i dont play other mmorpgs as i only have eyes for mir. I will however say that the bits i did understand (something about caps on various bits and bobs) did sound interesting. I personally hate the fact that a lot of mir is just a desperate grind to keep up with those who do have more time/£££.
