No, you cannot judge how good the actual gameplay of a game by looking at a video. I have watched videos on hundreds of games and thought they would be good, only to find the complete opposite when I actually played it for myself.

Its like saying you know what it feels like to drive a particular car because you've watched a video of someone else driving it.

My last comment on this is the only aspect of this game people would like are the graphics, some animation are pretty well done but the overall i wouldn't class this game as a P2P title, you could easily find better F2P games.

They didn't email me a key within 10 hours so I canceled my order and re-ordered with Steam, got my key instantly.

i think ive come to the conclusion, i hate ALL MMORPGs

and the only game i do like is mir, i think i shud just give up trying to find another game like mir,as there's none out there. i think i like the fact on mir u have to aim ur hits, nto just click on the player, put a stick on ur head and repeatedly bash the keyboard till there dead.

im sure i cud play rift for a month or so, as mmorpgs r addictive, like WOW, played that for 2months, but cant seem to play a MMORPG Longer than that, but been playing mir nearly 8 years now.

gonna download rift anyway, and give it a crack see if i can get into it for a couple of weeks

This is the exact same problem im having. i want to get addicted to another mmorpg like i was addicted to mir. tried WoW and was bored after a month. Im currently playing Rift and enjoying it, but i don't have the constant desire to login and level up like i used to on mir.
I think alot of the attraction to mir is the fact you can become famous as such, the more hard work you put in the better level/kit you get, but also a better rep.
I liked the idea that people had heard of Trojan (my char name) and new to stay clear as he was a good pvper. whereas on rift/WoW you could be killed by someone 1 day, and never see them again. Also the level cap SUCKS.

Look at rift, all you have to do is stand in 1 spot and hit tbh you could fk off for 10mins and come back and you will be doing the same crap.
Now Tera.. work it out, i want you reply back and if you think rift is still better after those videos then post back and say why, don't give some crappy reply trying to be a smart ars, all i did was give my opinion you reacted like a tard.

I did like TERA as I'm playing KR but loving rift atm.

rifts starting to piss me off, great game, but incompetant staff

WOW never had 3hours ques just to log on when it first came out, actually ive never que'd for wow for longer than 10minutes. really need to invest in better capacity servers, as the ques always around 300-400 people, which isnt alot for a MMORPG.

got my girlfriend to log me in at 3pm ,while i was at work, and ive still got a 2hour wait to get on.
