Guess this is what happens when lomcn allows the release of files that shouldn't have been allowed.

it wouldn't of been released anyway. greed seems to take over everyone who works in a team on mir files.

theres no point making a fuss when people promise they will release something, 95% of the time it never happens, the only person who really holds true to releasing is TD, and lifco (but yet to see a finished product)

I used to respect this forum!

As for the "mir community"; I dont care, nor have i cared about the "mir community" for a long time, I only work on the source code with kyn as a hobby, the plan always was to release a decent set of exes to the community when we were finished but now if the day ever comes where i cant be bothered to code anymore I would rather delete them than release to anybody on here, Sorry.

VIP indeed, letting the actions of a few idiots damn the rest of the community.:thumbup1:

If we had been asked if to release this build we would have said yes as its old but just releasing wasnt really a good approach.

people shouldn't need to beg, there are countless posts around the forum asking for more updated files than 2.3.

tbh i'm just sorry that we have lost a decent set of files because of a few ppl.. ppl that btw have been part of this mir community just from the last 3 months.. lol

i mean, how can a newly added member to this community, spoil all of us? some of us are here from when lilcooldoode was first registered and never act wrongly towards the community.. also us deserve this?

If you wanted > 2.3 do it youselves, you all moan for stuff but dont contribute much do you? We always maintained that we would release when finished, IceMan and Elysian was used by me and lil for testing and bug gathering.

A few people had old builds to play with, Azura, Glen and whoever had access to the server.

As I said it was a different story from everyone when I released FH source last night wasnt it?

They werent icemans file to release either.

Once again SKANK AKA MYSTIC MEG

i would have liked to be part of the people who got these files.. tbh i wouldn't have shared them like this without the owners permission and even though i did not contribute this much to this community i still feel i did my part and i enjoy helping out with the bug finding.

judging by this thread, neither do you.

its one thing to say your going to release something and another to actually do it, we're not the ones making false statements, Then blaming the community, this makes you look bad...

Please dont remove our status! LOL Same old argument Ben - I dont care what my status is lol

And we always maintained to release when finished, we were quite thorough when we coded systems etc, hence such a long development time, no point releasing unfinished work is there?

End of the day, these files should never have been allowed to be released on lomcn. Those that thought they were 'doing it for the community', have pretty much shot themselves in the foot.

Not really interested in getting involved with this (Though I agree it is wrong) but the files would of been shared even if the Staff removed this thread immediately. Either over MSN or another Forum.

What's done is done :/

Yes they would have been, but lomcn should have been far more proactive in trying to stop them being shared over the forum.

But as said, what's done is done.
