Talked to a lot people theres a few things.

Either make an ally system or prevent those who aren't attackers/defenders from entering map.
make leaving joining guild one week cooldown or cannot join people once submitted or hold wall
Let people have a way to find out who is attacking.

No one likes being outnumbered.

Yeah but, that was so like, 6months ago!

Honestly, I think it should be added. Sabuk War should be a fight of guilds, not a bunch of randoms. Would love to see SW spruced up a little, throw in a wrench into it's current (and i'm quoting here) "useless" iteration of it, as people put it. Need to encourage more PvP on this server anyway, even though I'm aware Mir3 is mostly PvE orientated. Really hoping I can sort a PvP event out at some point, bit like the good old Last man standing days.

One guild complained (the guild that had control of the wall at the time), majority of the server liked the idea.

Mir 3 wasn't mostly PvE orientated, most of the PvP/PKers left the server due to a lack of PvP content.

mir3 has more PvE content that mir2 but it was full of pvp. Mainly because there was things to fight over.

On here its a tempest door/entrance/choke point fight for control of map/boss

When bosses would spawn at the same time it would be a fight for them.
You would have to head there ahead of time and be prepared to fight. You would have to either split guild/group between bosses and risk losing them in fights or focus on just 1 with the guild/group to ensure you got it. That's been removed due to randomised spawns and global shout which just encourages above tempest door fight by first to react to the shout.

Best levelling areas would be contested by guild fights. It was more beneficial to guild hunt, cheaper pot/repair costs/longer hunts etc but on here its easier to solo/duo to gain best exp while also making tonnes of gold doing so. Previously solo/duoing would provide the best exp but it would be expensive to maintain. When solo/duo it is easier to rt to avoid a fight and continue hunting than it would be if in a guild hunt.

Server has always seemed very geared to 1-3 man hunting which in turns means people are more likely to avoid fights, where as if there was more guild/group content it would create more fights as players are more inclined to fight with backup than not.

Itemization is geared from farming normal mobs and cash. No need to group up to fight over bosses.

In essence this server has very little to fight over, as all the best gear and gold is achieved through general exping/farming

Couldn't agree more.

Might want to balance classes before encouraging more PvP, soon as I see a sin, i'm dead. 1.5k hit + poison, sucks for a wiz, especially when they can sneak up or teleport to u.

Believe me if I had my way everything would be nerfed into the ground and some spells removed or reworked, but that's apparantly not very fun for anyone, even though it would likely bring way more PvP to the game. I've played Mir3, it's always been a superior PvE experience imo compared to Mir2, Mir2 everything is a lot less powerful and a lot easier to balance. It's one giant cluster**** atm and it's a nightmare, frankly.

People leave for several reasons, but we weren't ever going to be a PvP based server as believe it or not, the hardcore pvpers are actually the minority now in Mir. Heck even PvP only servers ever only lasted 3months. Ideally you need both, and in an ideal world you can have both. But sadly it's just easier to focus on PvE than it is on PvP in Mir3, and that's taken it's toll on the hardcore pvpers who like you say, got bored and left.

I would love to bring some Last Man Standing sort of events, maybe a Round-Robin PvP event as well for just same class vs same class. The issue besides time constraints is, is it something people would actually participate in (even the casuals) or would it just be a waste of time? Another issue is, would it really be fair? Ideally we'd create a means to make everyone on the same kit and level so it's an even playing field.

If people can argue any of this is worth doing, I'd be up to talking to Jamie and Shane and look into getting it done.
