Something needs to be done about the amount of people moaning on the forum, about people cheating! .. 9/10 of these are false rumours. If anyone was thinking of starting the server and come on the forums to see what the server is all about, all these threads are not doing the best advertising for what is actually a pretty decent server.

Also need to remove all negative content from Facebook Page too.
I reckon if you do that and everyone shares the 2.0 post we will get more. Unless you put up a specific Chronicles Advert we can all share?

Lots of things need improving before thinking about getting more users in. They will just leave again. 2.0 may bring content but content alone will not fix the current mess.
There are far too many "cheat" threads i agree but some of them are accurate. Cheats are still being used, people still have unfair advantages.

Id like to see more players but at the cost of allow the cheats to continue functioning.... Nah cant say im down with that.

tbh i agree with Guccci on this, some of these "cheater" reports are clearly people that are just butt hurt and should be removed..

But to remove ALL negative feedback i dont agree with.. Morally speaking, its wrong.
Skewing the information into only a positive light would only hurt the server in the long run, Best to provide all feedback so people can make a decision themselves.. In my opinion that is anyway.

Also agree. There should be more moderation on this forum. Also, certain users should be banned from posting in this section.

We don't moderate personal sections, everyone has a right to say their opinion, be it negative or positive. We just clean up flame / racial abuse or where we think the line has been crossed (full troll posts).

But surely a lot of these "cheater" threads should be considered (Troll Posts) as some consist of one claim of Cheating.. and the rest of the posts are filled with people simply jumping on the band wagon.. it doesnt add anything to the claim.. just petty squabbling.. -.- lol

Honestly when it comes to cheater threads we can't filter anything on that regard as we're moderators of the forum not of servers, we can't tell if someones telling the truth or not unless the server team gives evidence. It's up to the server team to investigate these claims regardless of how ridiculous they may seem.

This post made by a previously banned cheater doesnt look good for server. Gives the impression that cheaters should be given a break/cut someslack (once a cheater always a cheater i would never change my opnion on avatar no matter what he acheives ingame he is still a cheat). I think people supsected of cheating should be reported but not made publicly maybe create a system where they can create private threads on reporting a cheater so they can be investigated.

In that case.. just as a suggestion. Wouldnt it be a good idea to remove the the Chronicles section posts from being displayed on the "Latest Posts" feature of the forums? As this is the ( Legend of mir community network ) and not the (legend of chronicles network) as some one has allready stated in another thread. Lol

I feel a lot of the complaints about these threads would be less apparent. Those who are coming here simply for Chronicles server shouldnt be prioritised, as this forum is dedicated to the advancement of everything Mir related...

Give people something to talk about, IE by cheating, and they will.

Although i do think youve made this thread to keep yourself "in the news" because you enjoy the attention your getting from 5% of the player base atm.

AND there ppl who use Cheats / Robots / Bots / Programmed Scripts to Archieve what should be reported -even if its Puplic on these Forums or send via PM to Server Owners. I found myself serious Actions by a Bunch of wannabes wich needs to be Investigated. Even if those ppl say they stopped Cheats they will do it always under Different Nicks under Different Accounts / Characters...

Admins control the layout of the forums, I personally use the latest posts to keep an eye on the hot posts while going through other sections. And I know a lot of other users use it, while chronicles is the hot spot we had the same for sams previous server, we've had it for icemans servers too, it's just what's popular at the time and people can navigate it easily.

Currently LOMCN does have a lot of traffic coming from chronicles so I can understand your point of view however, i'm just saying it's very very unlikely a tool will be diabled over 1 feature. Over the complaints being a private section again that's an admin stance I do apologise.

then get a new forum account being linked to a cheater that was permanently banned isnt good for your status.

I brought up this issue of the forums giving the server a bad image and putting off potential players off the game weeks ago before all the crap blow out of proportion........ but none give 2 toots then....
But now everything has turned bad, and people are achally starting to leave because of these problems, people are starting to take notice......

Why is it the words have to come from a cheater for people to start opening there eyes to whats happening here...

Keep Items/Spells Rare - So more Player Leave without any perspective cause its a Private Server and best is Nothing has todrop...
