Well I get pm's daily about apparently cheating, since the server began, even when I was below the frame cap.

Pretty much get told 24/7 that people are running to Sam n reporting me which always amuses me, so I can see why I would be suspected.

There's only several people who were suspect in my own eyes and all 3 of them are on there, one pretty much never plays, the other is on the 2nd list along with avatar so I presume he's now gone and the third..well seen him ingame today so unsure but I know the account has multiple users.

Best ban people using Task Manager too Sam. It's also pretty standard to ban in waves btw. It helps if Cheaters don't know how they were detected.

The whole community has been dragged to a low level because of the minority. Unfortunately, it's that minority which ruin servers and i personally wouldn't be surprised to see it ruin Chronicles.

it's fine >.> it's obvious that Samuel doesn't react immediately on cheaters caught in these txt files without concrete proof evidence, therefore gives them an opportunity to come to some conclusion to themselves after a period of time.

You should know working on the AceM2 Files that this software cannot catch everyone, false-flags, and has a possibility of never finding new process', just like antivirus scanners don't find new malware until they're reported, put in a definitions list (Detection list to be clear here) and then parse the active process memory.

Clearly the files use the same technique, build a list of possibles, and Samuel investigates them one by one.

Here is my concern:

Samuel should not ban accounts immediately... what he must do is freeze the account for a period of time (Temp-Ban) 1-7 days justified by the severity of the cause, and when failing to log in a message should be retrieved from the database in regards to what ban.

Scenario 1:

Someone is using a speedhack for half a hour on a guild hunt in ice caverns.. and suddenly he is kicked out of the game, he tries to log in and the messae appears.

"You've been banned for 1 days 23 hours 19 seconds for speedhacking,
further activity will result in a perma-ban, you've been warned!"

Scenario 2:​

the person doesn't take notice of the previous warning

"You've been perma-banned for continued use of speedhacking software, don't go on lomcn.org telling everyone you're using a game booster by Razor you QQ bastard we don't care"

Repeated offenders are outright banned, unfortunately a lot of the repeated offenders attempted to try their luck at once....

Cut a long story short, ultima hasn't flagged up since.

Notice how my old character Kangax is nowhere on that list, I've explained to samuel in Pm that i didn't receive the pm responses due to broken forum account. I NEED clarification PLEASE. I would also like to know, since you have confirmed that this list to be legitimate, why Wadestreet has been specifically targeted.

Samuel you have said in previous post's that you don't ban instantly to be sure before doing it, but you did not extend the same courtesy to me, why is that please?

Iv been a member of lomcn since it started, and in all the years iv been here (even during mir peak) no server has reached the numbers of chronicles (it was overwhelming) myself and many others have been saying/suggesting for years that lomcn needed one big server not tiny pockets of users spread across numerous servers but instead somewhere all the community come back together and enjoy the game.

So long story short, chronicles is born and we manage to pull it off and the response is amazing so many are pleased and thankful and find new love for a game they had long thought was dead/dying, but the harmful actions of the minority (Slander/Hacking/Cheating/Botting/numerous Ddoss attacks) out weigh the majority.

What saddens me most is if these people are still monitoring what goes on in the mir community after all these years they clearly still care about the game, no matter how much they may try to deny it.
