Lol, well this thread took an intresting turn.
1. Police officers dont call you "common people" not sure where you got that from, at worst your called "civillians".
2. Your conception that every police officer thinks "the world is their shell" isn't only really ****ed up, (because that would be like saying they think the world protects them) but wrong.
3. I've never seen anyone in the police abuse a member of the public, im not saying it doesn't happen, but your moronic idea that they do it to everyone is seriously ****ing stupid, and you need a reality check.
in Reagrds to Johnbarney.
If what you say is true, then you wouldn't be going to court to dispute your charges. If your making a complaint against the police then you either go to their station and speak to their senior officer, or do so in writing.
The case is then either handled in the local system, or done formally under the independant police complaints comission. They look at the evidence, talk to witnesses, and make the deicisions. If he was found to be the "antagonist" then you would have had your charges dropped. Then you would have the option of taking him to court for damages should your compaint prove to be fair and correct.
If your going to court to fight it, then youw ill probably be told it has to be handled by the police's own system, and before people like "SirSimpson" who think the police are all drug dealers who batter everyone comes in to talk more ****. You're FAR more likely to get a result via the IPCC than you are against the court system which is made of people who are generally sympathetic to the police. The IPCC looks at the case from an entirely neutral standpoint, the court system usually looks at it from the officers point of veiw because the courts see police officers as completely honest and intelligent (which 99.99% of officers are)
In truth, I honestly cannot see a police officer being stupid enough to go out of his way to pick a fight like that at a petrol station, as almost every petrol station in the UK has CCTV. If he did, then he deserves what he gets, but nothing will happen to him in the court system, you need to go through the correct channels.
