I was extremely disappointed there was no Easter event, Easter events have been a massive part of Mir over the years.

i think Sabuk fix should be top of the list of things to sort, competitive pvp is great addition to the game and brings a real fun aspect to mir.

i also believe increasing the exp boost from level 38 to 42/43 would be a good move to introduce new players.

Not everything on the server is camped, I went a gd 3-4 weeks killing 3-4 boss's repeatedly that dropped well without 1 fight

ino where to go to hunt peacefully Ino where to go to have a fight,

either way way money is easy to make a skills/items are easily obtained

for myself iv found it a bit of a struggle, I ask around but NO ONE is interested in grping up and going cave hunting so its solo solo solo. when i do actually find a wizard to ts with we go to pt 3rd and get owned by a random 50 wiz, we go to pt 1st it takes hours, we go to psc and its slow, we go to zt and someone runs through and 2 hits us.

i dont mind leveling, i dont mind soloing, i dont mind grinding but why do i get 1-2 hitted every time i go somewhere where i can actually get to 40 within the next year.

give extra exp for grouping. 2 people 60 percent each 3 people 50 percent each 4 peaple 45% each etc. make it so people have a reason to help noobs, or two wizzies have a reason to take a tao with them etc.

if you get a decent size group your getting 2k a mob in bdd its a joke iv never seen a server like this. luckily iv got in a decent guild so i get help following people tuing, guild hunts etc but i can see why noobs join and say fk this. most people i hunted with up to 26 have disappeared never to be seen again which isnt good for a server.

Let's be honest the future of the server is ****ing grim if you listen to the vast majority of the people on these forums, they are either crying their eyes out so you don't nerf something they've spent thousands of ££££s on or complaining that they aren't getting enough support despite the fact that they talk so much bollocks you couldn't possibly filter through it to find the relevant information. You need to actively go ingame, perhaps message some people in the smaller guilds and then some of the players you know don't post on these forums, get input from the player base that doesn't have an ego the size of a ****ing planet.

I agree and disagree at the same time.

I'm pretty egotistical and love to show boat it because it winds people up, doesn't mean I don't give constructive criticism or valid input into what the server needs to survive.

What you need is someone who actually cares about Mir/The server rather than their class/themselves. A sparse rarity these days. It's also very easy to become bias when you're playing the game and lull yourself into thinking you're helping.

Honestly? doesn't matter what they do at this point people won't be happy. Damned if you do damned if you don't.

I stopped playing chronicles last summer when I got jumped & pked for no reason whatever, just to take from me almost dead WB on ST F1, made a half assed return in fall and found leveling kind of slow and pointless @38 on sin (like outlook on getting some better kit if I should get to 40) and on PI everybody seemed only to himself... and checking the forums this spring and reading about pple geting pked for no reason, nevermind if they try for bosses, cures me of wanting to log on. I used to level and go about my business on euro and usa gamepot mir partly because I was decent level and wasn't easy to kill in one or two hits (unless by cheats) but that is not the case here and I hate nothing more than being pked for no reason whatever by bored high level char of some low life british underbelly unemployed neverdowell. That said, you should have chosen better char name than ipwnu, that's silly LOL with such name I would never come to forums complaining about getting jumped.

But its nice to see the server still up and going although it is not for the likes of me who like to keep to themselves and potter about peacefully and solo in mediocre kit

Mind you there are some good suggestions all over the forum but its symptomatic that powers that be don't understand what pple want, are confused by their wants and give them mostly always what misses their wants, been like that on official and private servers alike which I see as absolving those running official servers of being deaf to players LOL

All I can see from this is it's okay to cheat aslong as your pally with the gms..? Look at the people who botted they got perm bans and rightfully so, which begs the question how is using a script to auto sunpot or allow sun potting while holding shift any different from using one to obtain gold..? Could a gm answer this please??????

Yup have to agree as sad as it is to say I think this server would be closed if it wasn't for the files being one of the better sets in use ...... The user count is already one fifth of what it was and can't see it improving anytime soon, especially with the C# files rapidly catching up on terms of features and servers starting to spring up already ..... I actually liked this server over a lot of others because it had the feeling things would be done properly at the outset but now it just seems as if it's rapidly going downhill

All servers have way more people at the start, just testing it, most don't stay on and play.

Chronicles was 'dying' in October and hit 180 players a night. It was 'dying' in January, and supposedly it's 'dying' now too with 250 players each night.

its LOM, it is a repetitive aged game and the people who enjoy it most will play it whether there's updates or not.

most of england has had incredible weather this last week, throw in a bank holiday you'll probably have less people online than normal.

there's always a constant 200 ish when i log in while off work. I usually log in around 5am/6am my time which is 10/11pm GMT.

its constantly good weather here but i find the time to have no life... :P

1. They could never prove who was using it, hence why the 1 second delay was introduced.
