Ain't nothing but petty.

I read all posts fully and correctly and explained my views on every class having 30 suns ...

like i said ... if you or every single other person on this forums doesn't agree with me that is fine... every1 is entitled to there opinion ....and no matter how many times you want to say my opinion is stupid or w.e new **** you want to come out with that's fine ....but my opinion won't change .

I never said your opinion was stupid, nor do I think it actually is.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion and that is the way things move forward, so I'd like to clarify I do not begrudge you your opinion, or think it is stupid.

What I am saying is that you deliver it in such a way, that is perceived to be stupid because you act like a twat, thus people take you less seriously.

Your opinion might not be stupid, but the way you put it across certainly is.

Was just some advice to try and help you in the future.

I was enjoying reading the posts about improvements on this thread until the 5 page sunny sarga started. My view - remove sun bundles. It makes pvp and most bosses a contest on who could afford the most sunnies it seems to me.

As a new player, hitting 40 and realising numa is my home for the forseeable puts a downer on things. Ive no issue with fighting for bosses, but timers need removing to stop the jobless mir addicts boycotting them. Or atleast minimizing the campyness.

Lack of levelling grounds, subs etc is a major issue. I believe normal mobs should have a very very rare chance of area specific rares of that mob level to make lvl grinding a bit more bareable.

But hey, the updates to come seem a good start, albiet in the wrong order.

its a pay to win server, it wont last. everything is stacked against any new players.
join the stupidly large guilds or ya fkd, millions in gold hoarded by a few players, kit bought n sold for rlc, pay to win exp pots, lk 7 weaps, anti curse pots, cant get skill books, unbalanced toons etc etc etc.
it becomes a chore very fast.

Today I went outside in the sun and had a verbal discussion with my friends.

Yeah, sun came out at 12.00 exactly today was nice! I had forgotten my torch so was a life saver.

Don't act superior just because you're no longer playing ;) once you've taken a dick you're always a fgt <3.

There's a few pay to win but it's obvious who they are and i reckon most people dont wanna spend too much on pixels
Exp pots are a stupid idea unless you have got lots of patches new maps ready for when everything gets too easy for people. WHy do server hosts let players level so fast when the next thing is they all sayin they bored and want new stuff. They will level anyway never mind how fast you let them do it.

Yes Guild size is too big for a server with 200 ish users. 150. whose idea was that? Anti curse lol
More help for new players would be good. Maybe a free exp pot every time you level up or a free 5 exp pots. So if you stop playing when you are busy or away you know you can still catch up a bit more easily.

One thing I'll add is on other private servers they had a duplicate map of the area for higher levels, such as normal WT 0-45, so if you were 45+ and you went in the same door you would go to a version with harder mobs (you can even spice up further by having 2,3x WT spawn instead of 1)

That way, the low levels still have chance to get a boss and the high levels get better exp caves and better fights for bosses

Can do this for most caves.

Hey Guys

As thread went very fast off topic after page 5ish hard to keep up with the posts.

As a new start to the server and return player from euro mir and private server as haven't touched it for years i played Arcadia for maybe 2 days before coming here other than that haven't touched Mir in years. Arcadia put me off instantly para and pro rings as far as the eye can see doesn't take a genius to know that ends a server or at least the fun in my opinion

This server has alot more to offer long term in my eyes in terms of even play field levels seem decent no massive exp boosts ect so feels alot like old euro when running around and i like what i see in the aspect means if i put in the work to catch my char up it will be fun fights instead of constantly parad

One thing that is painful to see as mentioned in other comments it is tough....very very tough for new comers luckily i played euro and knew alot of the Curse10 guys from back then and meet a few new buddies without their help i dunno if my char would ever get going. I think level cap caves is a awesome idea means under 40's can have their own set of WT/BDD/PT ect i am sure it would be a simple copy paste job for the maps but unsure about the code side of things but on other side needs to also be one where high and low levels can go together on guild runs so low levels aren't separated from everyone

I always think in its simpilest form key to success? happy new starts with a clear path on where to go and busy high levels. My suggestions so far

1. A Cave that checks players level and put them into a cave that suits i.e. WT1: Level 0-30 WT2:30-40 WT3:40-45 means the lower levels can hunt in peace without the 40+ guild wars and getting caught in the middle but also one that allows any levels to go in for guild hunts ext with maybe a little added exp/item drop rate not saying double like 1.2x just a little extra

2. Exp boost up until level 20? (By level 20 every class should have something to get them on their feet SFB/T Bolt

3. Cash can be a bit of an issue for new start maybe making S & M health & Mana potions 1g so it costs practically nothing for them to pot up

4. Different items with SC/MC/DC requirement rather than level requirement meaning when they drop its instant gold as it can appeal to all audiences rather than level restricted TaeGukRing perfect example amazing ring, expensive but any level that works their butt off to get cash for it can have it

5. Possibility of boss so tough can't be taken on by one guild? Will force two big guilds to play ball? or even tough enough to require a guild to kill rather than just a guild to get to

6. Skills? Any skills hidden in files or taken from other servers that could be used on classes but to no massive beneift just for fun i.e. Teleport handy enough skill for wizzies could give it to others for getting round big provinces

7. Biggest one i think EXP RATES for groups. Yesterday 3 of us TS'ing invited a new start to join and the amount of exp he took up being lvl 1 was crazy to the point one of the wizzies said he would leave if the low level didn't resulting in us leaving the new start. We were happy for him to join but the exp divide was too crazy so i can see why guilds keep their hunts to themselves instead of inviting low levels

In saying the above i think the team have done a nice job with the server a lot of private servers go in the wrong direction make it too easy or too imbalanced with one class. No MMORPG not even one as big as Warcraft can balance all their classes but so far i like what i see hope few extra caves/items other than that im a happy bunny as alot of my suggestions are for low levels starting and wont affect me very soon

Thanks

The Auto Hot Key script in question is simply one that allows you to (more easily) use a potion in your belt (namely, a sun potion say on #1 slot on your belt) whilst holding shift. Nobody is being banned for that because it can already be done in-game without needing a script.

Babyhack has confirmed that is infact a bannable offence. Maybe don't go admitting to still using it bud, or advocating others do, you somehow got away with it once, doubt it'd happen again...but then sillier things have happened in chronicles.

What are we doing to keep players interested?
Our current plans look a little like this at the moment (no dates given, but in order of planned release):

- Road to 2.0 - Finishing off what was promised in 2.0, our next update is going to be a vault full of spells including ThousandSwords, FrozenSword, Traps etc, etc... As well as some fixes to some of the existing skills (DarkBody, SlashingBurst, Meteor/Bliz), AND the introduction of some new spells HealingField, QuickLoad, MassEntrapment etc.

Can I suggest that you look at damage mitigation whilst Lilcoole finishes these spells off. We all eagerly await the new spells and look forward to hunting them down however damage is already off the chart, with fights lasting 2-3 seconds. The last thing we need is more damage without some form of mitigation.
Your idea preciously regarding a 50% reduction in pvp damage has some legs, please give it some thought.

- SabukWall 2.1 - Finally introducing SabukWall, we had some background issues with it that needed to be fixed and have been put off, but the plan is to introduce the first Sabuk Game (Headquarters) in 2.1.
We need this, but we need it to work. please test it thoroughly before implementing. A botched up implementation of this would not be good after the long wait.

- Hunting grounds 2.2 - We currently have 2 High level hunting grounds planned and half complete... I suspect we will have more than 2 by the time we reach this point as I will mostly be working on SW allowing LCD to work on monster AI's.
These are long overdue, please remember that the most popular places for leveling are places with high density and ranged mobs that are stationary or travel towards you instead of the ones that maintain their distance. for an area to appeal to all classes hard hitting ranged mobs that run away just don't cut it.
Numa Ruins could possibly be added sooner than 2.2? high density numa infested temple with super numas in amongst them to offer some fear when mass luring.
People like 1-2 hit spots. mass luring spices up the leveling process.

- Item patch 2.3 - Introducing a new set of items, including a new class armour (for all 6 classes) and a bunch of level 55/60+ kit.
Please make these drp in the new areas only. allow the old content to be farmed by up and coming players while the higher levels go about their business in new areas.
adding these items to existing bosses will only frustrate the lower levels still finding their feet. would love to see the likes of blackwidows going for OKS unchallenged.

- Gauntlet 2.4 - Introducing a new style of competitive game where players can randomly group up to kill onslaught of monsters and rank up points (more details will be released closer to the time).
Sam

This sounds great, I hope that consideration has been given for the single target classes.

All in all a lot of content "coming" I really do think that a solid swift delivery of some of it is very much needed as soon as possible.

Great work. Keep it up.

fix the exp man, no other server have i seen anything like, used to be decent exp with 11 people tsing in bdd on euro. on here it would be about 400 exp each.

im more than happy to help people but like smeg said (who i hunt with) we was getting 2.5k a mob brought a friend along who was level 10 ish and BANG i was wasting my time even being there.

I would really like to understand the issue here tbh...

Is it that new content is needed? Or that the current content isn't being used? The point I am trying to make and trying to understand is, we have over 20 hunting grounds (granted some of them are useless the more you level)... That is more than Euro, USA, any other private server to date... Why is this an issue on Chronicles but it wasn't on them? (This is a genuine question).

Sam

Hi Sam

i recently started playing your server and the main issue i found was the lack of viable places to level.

so i played a sin got to 27 via oma/oma Lair and now its a straight grind in numa desert until 50+ as far as i can see? few alternatives that were mentioned in game were Past Bichon (much slower) Turtles ( possible in a group but again much slower)

again im new to this server, if ive missed the alternative viable areas please enlighten me.

Viper cave is the only other half decent leveling area, but it'll cost you to get in there and again, it's been made redundant by numa. I level my sin in Ancient forest, it's a lot slower than numa but I find it more enjoyable and you can make gold off LostMaps.

Failing those you can try Pt, but numa is the fastest place to level solo by far, some of the highest levels, most geared characters on the server levelled in numa

@smeg you get an xp bost in some caves until level 35 being tele the right place for you takes away the exploring
it's supposed to be lowish rate with a euro feel. There's people already out levelling content so making it faster isn't the best idea.

It was never good exp with 11 ts wiz in bdd unless everyone was around the same level. It was good in twos
It only takes a few days casual play to get to 35. Then you can be boosted. You been spoiled by all these med high rates.

Here the choice is exp or drops. Alternate, do the repeatable quests yr old buddies will have kitted you out so you can play without struggle

Did you try psc or PT or bdd1f? ST and BC an be good for gold and pots. Ancient forest, mountain pass.

Don't be taken in by big numbers. Killing one mob for 12k in 30 secs is not as good as killing 3 mobs in 30 secs for 6k each
Plus some caves give you an exp boost til level 35. How many did you try?
