Server offline (DDOS)

Evening all

You prob noticed that the server has gone offline.

We are again under attack from a DDOS.

The server team are right now working with our hosts to sort the issue and get the server back online.

This is as much a pain for the Chronicles team as it is for you all.

We will post again when server is back online but as with all attacks like this the server may still be unstable.

im pretty sure that if the server crashes, the whole thing crashes including the mobs.

I don't think so, could be wrong but ddos attacks are aimed at the LoginGate? and the monsters are processed through the M2, so when the LoginGate crashes, all players d/c but the m2 is still running which means monsters are as normal.

If it is the Gate over the M2 then yup you will all be dead. Gutta love the Late arrival of dinner otherwise I woulda been hunting... for the first time im happy the misses was slow with the cooking!

no... no rewinds this happened last time and there was no rewind so why would this happen now..

loads of items and stones were lost last time no one seen any of them so shouldn't be any different..
