Shadow Step (close thread, my 2 cents on it)

I play sin and all these moans and **** about shadowstep, I agree it can be op depending how it’s done but afaik what I’ve heard is no auto run and no shift lock when u use it, but a **** all cooldown..

the issue here I think is that when your in like a group boss fight (scenario) you’ll have loads of sins in shadowstep soon enough constantly bouncing around the map as there isn’t much of a consequence from what I’ve seen (need to lvl to use the book :/)

As well as solo fighting I think someone’s said on here you can insta tele lure mobs on someone and disappear literally.

i think with shadowstep it needs a minimal cooldown, so we can’t constantly bounce around the map, some people may disagree with me but I think that it needs a good mp flux on the skill so it cains your mp, so u actually gotta wait for mp to regen or sacrifice a sun, as well as with a 4-6/7 second cooldown as a sin, so then you should think about using the skill..

or, it could be a no shift lock and auto run but with a minimal 2-4 second cooldown with escaping...

reason being, it’s the skill that makes an assasin, quick in quick out, we are agile take **** tonnes of damage so it’s essential for both pve and pvp, helps us boss but one thing I should say is to not have it tele across full walls, as this can just be beyond broken and maps that take 40+ minutes to clear and run, sins would be there in 1/4 the time..

@xx69xx not a moan post but use different scenarios look at the rankings etc.. that’s what I think about shadowstep,

everyone who who cries about “stupid to be 4-5 seconds etc”, have a look at ur own spells, wiz shield taos constant casting tank pets, hunters too etc warrs spam dash/fs tdb and will have rage and pro in future..

this a post not for cries, keep this **** clean just need a response ffrom gm! :)

I agree with this completely, but i also dont think right now its awful or game changing. I think it needs looking at, but this was not an oversight or untested, but nerfed from what was usually expected from ShadowStep.

Yeah your totally right, needs checking at maybe a little tweaking and thumbs up.. only 1 sin has it let more get it haha

Any blink/jump spell should have a CD
W.e class

Prime example is decoy on chronicles, they got ss right but left decoy broken

But SS was like that for 3months+ probably more :P

Its nothing game breaking, just strong. We agree like i have said all along, it does seem a little strong, but we attempted something different, and it hasnt paid off. We will add the cooldown. Will have for next reboot

Its like with every spell, it takes some tweaking till it gets near or perfected, you’ll get there just a little time fook the cries

dont forget archers have their own SS spell in the form of the clone interchange XD, but on topic I'd rather have a slight cooldown and maintain the autolock,run rather than lose those 2 aspects, the lock on system is clunky enough as it is without having to relock on or being forced to walk after

But are you agreeing and going to stop them jumping over walls? (Apologies if you've answered this elsewhere already)

It's funny because when Wizzy's use teleport they get a 30 second shadow step debuff.
