Personally, I think you guys have already done more than enough for the LOMCN community, and you hardly get thanked enough as it is by us newbies. If it's just going to end up used on every server like what happened with older server files and the M2Servers and such - I don't think it's worth the time publicly releasing.

If you're planning on fixing it up anyway, then I'd personally recommend keeping it to yourself, or only releasing it to trustworthy server makers who are also intent on helping the community through hosting servers to the public, etc.

That's a really good point. You guys do a lot for server community tbh.

If you go to the trouble of releasing it, you could make people ask for permission to use it, and hand it out to your choice of teams.

I dislike dividing LOMCN we are a small enough community as it is Why split it up more?

I've learned from the past that releasing to a few simply doesnt work So therefore any major releases I make go to everyone Although admitedly I dont release everything I obtain..

i downloaded this a yesterday morning and had a bit play about, the spells in it are cool, i do not now allot but can you make lion roar have a spell image instead of every spell looking like fireball, the tao summon is cool lol, summons 5 multicolourd skele in 1 cast, i havent firgured out wht allot of em are, but geomanipuation works well with the tele spell as image.

i would really like to see the m2server translated it seems very good, if it gets unpacked i could maybe help to translate i little? ive never done it b4 but id like to learn so i can help out u guys a tad nps if u dnt got time to explain a lil, is it searching the chinese text as a text string in hex edit then replacing with english?

also does any 1 kno why i get an error with the db server they supllied? i get error on api bind or summiks, am nt at home atm so cnt check, i jsut used a diff dbs erver and it worked but was wondering if this 1 was special?

This community is one that you cant keep files in a small group for long, someone will always hand to a friend, who will pass to their friend, who will then host it for free to get recognised and so on.

Just the way LOMCN works, i reckon if these files hit LOMCN before the 1.9 files took hold, they would be considered the most awesome files yet. I rekcon you should work on them, the spells are what the masses want, and many still like 1.4 although its a dying race.

My worry is with the tons of factions all bringing out their own work, that the community will end up divided and bitter much like the L2j and Official communites that operate different lineage software.
