Just cap wars at 6 and leave assassins as they are. What is the current speed they are getting? (since its faster than it was)

its not faster than it was, thats the problem.
sins are at 6 and have been for 13.5 months

Flinch needs a diminishing returns type system.

The chance to flinch should become less over time, so classes would still have their openers, but after x amount of hits the other player becomes less and less effected by flinch to the point of immunity, after immunity is achieved(or the player isnt hit again) it resets after x seconds, and the player can be flinched again.

So basically youre saying that sins should be able to SS next to their target, stun lock them and just hold shift until they either die or rt/tt? How can you NOT see that as a problem? Lol

Tbh i thought the flinch lock effect would only last half a second to 1 second.

Maybe you all are over playing it, i don't know.

But obviously if flinch is locking you in place unable to move period, then that's a problem

So sins are currently at speed7?

No. Assassins are speed +6. A warrior in speed 7 kit hits speed 7. A warrior in speed 8 kit hits speed 7.

The fix they attempted boosted assassins to speed 8 and people lost their ****, understandably as the flinch was uncontrollable due to it seemingly swapping between speed6 and speed10 sporadically.

I looked into this in alot of detail last night - the problems go alot deeper into the code than just changing animation frame times - although that seemed like the thing to do to fix it the way the code works doesnt allow us to change frame times by only small amounts.

The way forward with doubleslash isnt going to be frame time changes - so it is defintly back to the drawing board with this one

But when you and I were with a trainer in oldbichon, you said 'one minute' and suddenly went from hitting 175-180 to 190 ticks per minute? I don't understand how you can do that in 2 minutes but can't implement it into the game... It's not an insult/accusation just I don't understand server files.

The only explanation i can think of is my system is alot slower than most of yours ingame. The speed that was released was the same speed i had it when testing with you and the results for other people as we all saw were massively different

keep it at the top of the list please bud, its a massive bug that is has caused huge balance issues and discussions.
This should be fix number 1.
If I see a statue or some new items before this gets resolved ill drown a kitten.
