It'd be nice to have it scale better, as it currently stands after poisoning 4-5 mobs poison tick damage output will outpace sfb, while having pets do similar or more damage than the Taoist himself on top of that, sfb kind of ends up kind of a filler spell to not stand there doing nothing.
Meaning you can poison a bunch of crap in slightly easier caves and hide, leveling half afk without losing much killing speed at all, and therefore making Tao more of a horrifically awkward semi-aoe class in pve.
This is bad, this is boring, this is not dynamic gameplay, this is similar in ways to being a really slow and terrible wizard (who seem to already have a lot of attention about how bad their class is) with a couple of neat group tricks.
Maybe some damage could be migrated from poison to sfb for example to keep output similar while encouraging the Tao to not just poison stuff and stand around for a while would be great for making the game less... passive for us.
Finding the place where Taos can comfortably level on their own without making damage a priority in group situations is a tough balance to find that has pretty much always been around in mir since the get-go, all things considered it isn't terrible on this server, but I'm confident with a little brainstorming it could still be made better
