The only difference online, is that other peoples creations will appear on your planets, you cant actually play with other people.

Just there creatures might be found roaming your planet, controlled by AI, not the player.

There are better methods than Rapidshare/Megaupload for downloading files. And not torrents lol

Ferrit Spore is pretty cool so far but don't think I'd actually buy it anyways. I do like how well it runs on older systems though I'll certainly give them that

Usenets.. Not free (Then again nor is Megaupload/Rapidshare if you want decent speed)

I downloaded Spore in about 20 minutes today and that wasn't even with my max connection speed (NTL have been poopy lately)

If you're a heavy downloader of TV/Games and Music Usenet really is a must.. + It's really simple to use

From 20-30 Dollars a month

http://www.newshosting.com/en/index.php

or

http://www.giganews.com/

Newshosting offer 110 Day retention (Number of days files stay on the servers) where as giganews while more expensive offer 200 Days (soon to be 240)

You also have to get an account over at http://newzbin.com which costs something like £2 for 8 Weeks.

Newzbin is much like a torrent site for Usenet. it indexes all the files on the Usenet servers into easy to use NZB files which can be opened by usenet applications which will proceed to download the files.

Again if you're a heavy downloader it is well worth it.. Max connection speed all the time every time no queues no seeding no ****.

oh don't listen to me I downloaded it on a spur of the moment kinda thing.. I've only done two sections so far out of five and since there all so different I can't really comment much on it.

I much preferred the first stage to the second though the second is dragging out at bit and is basically me attacking/charming other creatures over and over lol. The Space section is supposed to be the best

Same here Milo the third is a little the same but in a more Age of Empires kind of way.

And torrents can be good if you get a private tracker. Although nothing beats usenet.

Give us your usenets foxy milo!

I'm in the space stage of the game now pretty cool, you gotta do missions for other planets and some attack you for wondering into their security zone haha, u create your own wee ship etc etc. just like in the civi stage.

All in all took me around 9 hours do get to this stage. Going to start another game though
and choose some other otions instead of all the killing ones lol (red) in the timeline.

I've made my way to the 4th stage - was good fun, but then started to drag a tiny bit.
But i'm def not bored of it yet.
