Hi all

Just to update you all and keep everyone informed as to what is happening.

First off I will say sorry again, I have been awake all night worrying about the server.

Right now the hard part.
Due to the large amounts of gold that have been obtained, over 300M according to the logs there will be a rewind back to when the ST files where added to the server. (midnight on the 15th of May) This has not been an easy choice to make and I fully understand that this will upset a lot of players.

There will be double exp until at least Monday evening.
All game gold will be returned to anyone who bought some.

The problem I am having at the moment is the fact that I don't have full admin access to the server machine and am unable to run the files due to this fact( I have been in contact with the server hosts and they are working on it)

I have no ETA on when the server will be back online.

As I have already said I take 100% blame for this issue and fully understand any anger from the players.

I will post again when the server is back online.

Still with you on this.. but can you confirm if this is from Wednesday 23:59 or thursday 23:59 as the way you have put it technically implies Wednesday 23:59.. but could also mean thursday 23:59

End of the day all this complaining now is going to get people no where. Everyone is loosing out here. Even the nobby exploiters. We have all put time into the game, and will loose %, gold, items ect. But the few (or however many) have exploited have put that much gold in the game that it's left BH no choice but too rewind. He made a mistake, it happens, the ones who abused it have caused the rewind instead of reporting it instantly. Double Exp weekend will make up for it. (if you can play that is). It happens in mir. If you don't like it, leave, but we all know 90% of the people moaning saying they will quit will stay and are just raging. go QQ and scream into your pillow untill servers up. BH doesn't need any more abuse.

not that i have anything against your actions (hell it's nice to have someone who just admits he made a mistake and try's to fix it as best as he can)
however: you're making the same mistake alot of server hosts tend to make. you're trying to make up for the loss ppl who played thursday/friday had, by rewarding ppl who play on weekends. might have been better to do something like giving a 24hr exp potion @ login, so everyone gets same reward regardless of wether or not they are weekday or weekend players

Agreed with this just give people exp potion for them to use. thats what happend when server was down before. if u put dbl exp for 48hrs thats in this short notice thats same as creating another bug.

Correct decision naturally.

Perhaps giving people Experience X2 potions, for 1hour (a few of them) so that they can use them at their own free time, would be more beneficial for everyones time-frame of playing the server.

Other than that, keep on trucking on.
