The hole reson for live 8 is to pull 8 of the bigest and powerfulst countrys together.
Trying to lower FairTrade and so on.

I think this will work... we are litrly saying 'You greedy ****ers **** there det and the money life is more important'

and i'm sorry but it makes me sick hering to some one say 'who gives a toss' I just hope one day you can go to Africa and see them poor ****s!

How do you know this is helping millions? All these years people give their money THEY EARNED to these things and get nothing back showing them that they have helped...

Every year it shows 1 or 2 clips saying "With your money we got little barbara a house and some slippers". Obviously if they wanted to help they wouldnt spend the money on nicer houses and slippers, they would invest in things like farms or sylums that can keep people going on a long term basis.

I bet the money we send in every year only helps them for a few months then theyre poor again.

All you've done is give these assclowns more money to line their pockets and fill their hands with rifles.

Unconditially clearing the debt, as was suggested, is a bad idea. A far better one would be to release portions of the debt when the target nations meet criteria. That way, the people would actually benefit, and not just the ruling classes.

Nah. Sorry meight, read up on the Data Protection Act. Or if they’re under Freedom of Information, call the government up and ask for them… I’d need to be at work anyway.

Lol, Live Aid.

An awesome event to raise money for charities and acts from around the world give up their time to work for FREE. I like it, must really help. however, i wonder how much money is actually spent on keeping them happy.

A quick listen on the radio today, let me know stars had dresingrooms complete with Jacuzzi's massages, perfect bathrooms and laods of other ****. So theres around a million wasted on **** already.

Africa analed its own ****ing economy because they got greedy. Now im not trying to be racist here, but Africa has always analed its self becuase their leaders get greedy.

The slave trade began becuase african village leaders accepted bribes or payments from "the white man" in exchange for their villagers working on the farms as slaves.

Africa is in debt becuase dickhead leaders wasted billions and billions on Weapons research etc, countries in the G8 etc loaned them more cash to try and stop poverty happening and the ****s go and blow more on ****ing nuclear weapons research etc which is never going to happen.

Bob Geldof is a prick with this qoute "Everytime you click your fingers and african dies" that makes it sound like a joke.

Also note for people who support campaigns against racism, reveiw some footage of Mr.Geldof - there are 2 bracelets available that show peoples support for racial equality, not suprisingly, a black bracelet and white bracelet.
