you see i have a big problem. Most of the time when i load my computer, it almost crashes.....

i press ctrl+alt+delete and i see that the process "svchost" is taking like 100,00 of my memory usage. Also the cpu usage is like 99 which is really bad -.-

Any of you geniuses know what to do as when i close the programme down, i loose the sound off my computer and the interface temporarily turns to windows 98 :S

i see 2 things u can do at this moment:
1) reformatting ur computer.
2) load safe mode, then start -> run -> msconfig -> disable everything there (i remember i did it once and it stopped a really nasty virus on a friend computer), then run a full online anti virus scan on the net, www.bitdefender.com then msconfig again and put back the stuff.
if anything will still be used by windows, so it cannot be deleted, try to delete it from safe mode.

something else u should do, delete cookies/history/temporary internet files, get the latest update of windows to try and prevent the virus from getting back. (if u have illegal version of the windows, search this forum for the update, as if u use the update directly from windows, it will know that u have illegal version, and it will cause u problems)

The best way to solve this is by doing the following.

Svchost process running at 99% - 100% in Task Manager
Required Items:
Working internet connection

Solution:
To resolve the above issue, try the following.
1. Disable Windows Update (in System Properties)
2. Download and install the hotfix from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927891/ (Filesize: 1.2MB)
3. Restart the PC
4. Re-enable Windows Update

If it's a virus, it's more than likely just disabling it from microsoft configuration utility wont help. They usually embed their startup entries into the registry.

I work for Tech Guys and its a problem that weve had with a lot of machines.
My post was aimed at whoever suggested removing everything from the microsoft configuration utility programs startup section would be enough to get rid of a virus ;).
