Mir 3 wars are so much more fun, flag in middle of the map. leader has to be next to it to click and claim. No opposing members could be stood next to flag else you couldn't claim

these wars where crazy fun. Wiz + mesh + crit pig <3

I think the CTF type thing would be a massive improvement on the current system. Fighting for control of that flag in an outside area brings so much more strategy into play rather than "lets wall up and stop anyone getting inside a palace for eternity, never moving an inch!"

Even if you just made the room a lot bigger it would help. same with the capture the flag idea, having more space would mean people cant just stack and block. They would have to fight or get rained on from range.

How about its on rotation.. abit like ground war on call of duty. So perhaps if i submitted for the wall today, when the next war came around it would be capture the flag. Then perhaps the next 1 would be traditional as it is now. Perhaps another would be Head Hunter... or something like your placed in a room and the moment ones team is completely wiped out the other gains control of the wall.

Just some ideas.

Just some ideas.

Or capture the flag could be an NPC which is spawned anywhere, could be in a province, could be in a cave.

I've been having a think about this what if the war took place on an identical map to sabuk (but with enclosures round the outside of each gate) upto 3 guilds could compete and it cost 5m entry rather than a relic (winner takes all the gold from the pot) then you have it so if theres two guilds going for it on get spawned outside the top gate and one at the bottom gate (if theres 3 guilds the third get spawned at the main gate) then instead of a palace theres a flag like mir 3, each guild would have there own npc's outside there gate they could use for cheap pots etc during the wall and rt's would be disabled, and then basically the guild holding the flag at the end of the war takes the wall and the other guild cash, the 5m is an incentive for more members to show up because no one wants to lose 5m from guild funds, it also makes taking the wall worth it and stops people putting in for it and not showing up.

Sounds interesting but perhaps cap the entry so that no guild can have more players then the other.. Perhaps at 30.

Tbh its upto the guild to make sure there members are online for it,kind of like all online members get tele'd to the war, but you dont have to participate which is why i suggested enclosures round the end of each gate like a sz so people who dont want to join in dont have to, but once its started if you leave the map you cant come back and also if your not online for the start of the war then you miss out. i think its the fairest way then no one can say well you had more people its down to pure skill and guild organisation by making sure people are online when it starts.

Fps cap should be removed imo not decreased, but the shop kit wouldnt bother me, id still one hit people on shrek anyway :)

How about the guild leaders just play a game of chess against each other, who ever wins owns sabuk.

cant get more fair and strategic than that.

but in all seriousness was looking at doing something like this sometime back.

That was my idea then i butchered turicans map a little to explain it a bit better, the red boxes are sz ( yes my paint skills are epic and no i dont give lessons >.<) each competing guild is tele'd to one at the start of the wall ideally the only way to leave SZ would be to TT back to Mudwall and not be able to return to the fight or obviously to enter the confines of Sabuk and begin to fight, this way even if all online members of the guild dont want to compete they wont get insta killed when tele'd in and also afk people cant die.

Make it so you need to control three flags in order to win whether its a two guild or three guild war (the black flag would obviously not be there if two guilds were fighting each other rather than three) sabukmapredone.png

I thought the option of two or three guilds led to more fun, i dont know much about coding but im assuming the script for it would be able to be implemented for 3 or 2 guilds considering how many submitted for it and then just change depending on that?

with the same system i mentioned, potentially 3 guilds could be used with the edits to the map you have made (and the sabuk map layout does indeed suit it more). but i think expecting to a guild to hold all 3 flags in order to win may stretch numbers too thin and prove very difficult when opposing 2 other guilds.

The only other problem of involving 3 guilds is , waiting for 2 to submit to the holders.

Bluseph u got all that money to spend on nice net why not get a better gfx card :P U look slow as **** ingame! >.< Do you ever get problems with VM ? i got real bad problems with VM i had to change.
