You talk of balance? Like vio said sword Oma's ain't game breaking it's something to look forward to.... I won't say what the next pets are cause you'll moan some more but they do x2 damage to any pet I can get ATM other than a crystal spider....

Leveling should certainly be rewarding even at 50+

The question should really be 'is it more rewarding to level a wiz higher than other classes' and because of taming that answer is actually yes.

I think the appropriate response is making it so leveling is just as rewarding for all classes -- and I do not think nerfing wizard taming is the way to do that

all cos someone has the time to out lvl everyone the game continues. a small reward for lvlin are new pets for a wiz,
its new mobs to LR for wars trap for taoists etc... who gives a crap he can tame sword oma's
hes far ahead in the game than anyone else.

also there should be 5 pets to, also those healing ship mobs should be tameable to :P

im a warrior btw.

1 thing id would say is no boss should be tameable. ruins game for others.

The problem is in original old school mir tongs were all wizards got, and maybe venom spiders at extreme high level. Instead of starting to allow slightly better pets, like a red boar or a big rat, they added new high lvls mobs and let them be tameable at fairly low level. Ie Red Frogs (which are BS powerful compared to say venom spiders!). This set the precedent for bosses and **** to be tamed at extreme high level, which I doubt the devs even expected anyone to reach when they were added. Also you have to remember they were added to a mir which had huge user counts and so finding bosses would have been if on itself a difficult task. A server with max like 100 active/non-afk players means it's fairly trivial to find and tame the high level stuff.

Mir3 is proof imo that the devs would have changed it if they could have without upsetting wizards. 3 pets should be max, and pets should be gained every few levels. Red frogs should have been 43, not 33! Also stats gained from level up should be more HP and regen than attacking power imo. I kinda wish they'd have done a complete overhaul on the system personally, it just seems so clunky imo. Make them like hunters pets on newer games, ie persistent and properly levelable. Witch/Wizard familiars are fairly common in fantasy worlds after all!

for all the effort and dedication you've put in so much lvling and I hope the Ace history won't repeat itself for all endgame high lvls because you're the ones that are spending the most time and effort into this game.


wizzes get it easy on this server is no effort to TU in archer room, if archer room wasn't so retarded EW wouldn't even be level 50

Haha would have been 52 even if tu wasn't in game! Tu is just to laziest way to level no the fastest

Tu levelling was nerfed 35%, you deffo wouldn't be 52 if it was 9k a mob from day 1. Gm let ppl hit 50 then nerfed highest lvling mob xp for a wiz solo, creating a huge lvl gap and threads like this.
In short, don't try fixing something that isn't broken xD

TU has never been change during my time on the server team.
EXP was also not nerfed, it was adjusted and made easier for all players across all levels.

That has nothing to do with TU, that's exp and is the same no matter what way you kill the monster.

The rate on the server is higher then it was when the server started, are you sure you have your numbers right.

Nearly every boss fight on server is dictated by the number of wizards present - shows you their current influence.
Its always been like this every fkin mir server. Everyone wants to be a wiz because they are overpowered unbalanced use whatever word you want. NOTHING WAS BALANCED on euro. Wiz have been ridiculous every server ever since. That's why most servers you have 75% wiz and the other classes in the left overs.

You're right. Wizards always knew what to expect with normal mobs: you could either tame max 5 of them if they were living, or TU them if they were undead. There were no mobs that wiz could not tame n

The more you'll lvl, the more OP you'll be consideredalways Some ppl seem to forget what lvling means and how hard it is to get it done, how much time and patience you invest. I hope you won't be cut off like we were bk on Ace, from what you deserve

You wizrads have moan and whined enough to get things the way you always thought they should be after Sam reeled you in-rightly I think but here we are back at the same old wizard dominance. I had high hopes of wizards being more subdued here. They were broken on euro but that's how wizards want it to stay.

these pets where changed on Ace (again another bug removed on Ace that is present on this server). you could tame bosses if you had the correct level. people where running around with 5 awesome pets - omas, foxes etc etc.

i think some bosses should be tameable ie tongs khazard, maybe even WT. but the higher level bosses ie DD, ZT etc should be untameable.

although i am sure omas of all kinds where dead mobs so you could TU them on other servers.

some high level mobs should be tameable though otherwise its a waste of a skill. omas seem good enough, maybe have a ranged mob and a melee mob (atleast) from each cave tameable.

are any of the hell cave mobs tameable?
