@ChronicleGM @Skyline wait wait what relevance is the comfort of lvling a tao to let's say lvl 45 have to do with the thread I've posted? this is a discussion about the balance of Tao's (of an established level, a Tao is "online" at the lvl 47 mark if you ask me), highlighting weaknesses in mainly itemization and buffs which dis-sway other classes beside Assassin from grinding with them (mainly for xp but items as well!).
@ChronicleGM btw I am Libero ingame and I don't know if you've noticed this fairly high lvl Assassin that i've grouped with quite regularly called 'KingTony' but he has no issues with Sin, has been cursed with not being able to get over Luck+1 on his weapon and has killed probably every high lvl player not in THC on this server and has been a massive help to me in a duo grind setup.
You mentioned that a Warrior needs all this different kit (Warrior's need an Accuracy kit too which you failed to mention!) but you've ignored Tao's need separate kit too for pvp (HP+ MR/AC+Agility companion, MR kit and if rich enough an AC+MR+agi kit to also counter very well kitted warrior's).
It goes without saying Sins/Wizards need a few variations too from either companion or kit but I'm thinking you are talking mainly about the PvE side of life which Warr's only require MR and as much DC as they can fit with that.
This is what a higher pet does btw - Works great in Banya Temple, very nice! and outside of this it is nothing but a tool you throw out to stall/organise mobs for AoE cluster and with empowered healing can prove as a very decent defensive force in places like Goru/TT. The main issues for these pet's are as mentioned in BP/JT/DD which are very rewarding and Warrior/Wiz are able to take advantage of these players with ease solo. In Comparison Tao's are able to solo FD/NR/Goru etc but at a very slow rate, the drop potential is much higher but the amount of drop rate in other areas enables them to sell those normal items/adds and easily purchase anything Tao's/Sins grind hard for!
Get a rare weapon drop or anything rare in Banya Temple "worthless" get a rare weapon drop in Black Palace "WORTH!", this is not an even playing field!
I won't go on, I've obviously gone and explored and experienced more right now.
