Archons is not going to be popular at all imo... Yeah maybe at first, as all Mir servers are, but it'll be one of the fastest dying servers around.
Having played the beta myself, sadly I can only agree with you but let other people make that decision for themselves.

yeah you only need to take one look at smir's stream of it to see how painfully average it is
quests? nobody likes 'em
none of the quality of life improvements like stackable potions and teleport scrolls
stuff like that, who in their right mind would ignore such great advancements like this?
I don't think Stackable potions work well on every server, It seems like it will be a slow paced server. (Slower than euro; and stackable potions will ruin that).
I agree quests, especially mandatory ones, carry a huge stigma.
Oh yeah of course, I mean all the Mir servers have something different to offer, I do like how the skills are done but the nagtives are to annoying :/
Jamie needs to work on a new one imo, an implement some nice stuff
It's a shame there isn't a "community server"

Interesting, I'd definitely be open to applying but I'm not sure how much time you expect one to dedicate. What's a ball park figure you expect from the individual?
As long as you handle the majority of the coding, and provide some minimal checking and support on the stuff I'd do, I'd be fairly confident.

From a gameplay POV, and making content that is actually entertaining and fun, I can't think of anyone better.
Bens track record of caves being challenging and non-linear speaks for itself.
The PvP aspect is always fairly good, atleast on the older file sets. Harder to get right on new sets. But the Armour Pen etc from 4H and the defensive/Pk sets were sweet. Real kit choices rather than what he currently have (get this at X level, then get this)

Have to agree with Adv regardless of the server the content added was some of the best in mir.

:\ I've got Ben in my top 5 server makers tbh, maybe because i really enjoy high rate.. but out of people who have wrote on this thread Ben would be the clear choice am i wrong? Tbh Ben could even be trolling xD

I'd choose Ben over me certainly. Although other than Ben isn't it just Shane/Banshee who has put his name in the hat properly? I also assumed Ben was not serious too.
