its not a bug rts dont work telering dont work thats how its supposed to work and at end of day gms make the choice not u so how can you call it a bug if its supposed to be like that if you want a bug its tdb it dont go through magic shield thats a bug not a rt or telering not working where its not suppoosed to

whatever happens if telering works so should rts, if telering dont work neither should rt.

Pretty sure on Euro telerings could be used literally everywhere except for ST 7th, hence why they sold for so much. I think the one exception is WT KR. Maybe because that's where the majority of tele rings dropped :P

Whether or not this was intended, I don't know. I do remember people using tele rings to get to KR's then walking in and recall-setting their entire guild in though. Fun times.

imo u shud be able to use a tele ring on EVERY floor but a KR ... like people have sed not having to use RTs to get the to the KR door is a massive advantage ... more room more weight for pots ... u shudnt be able to RT on any ?KR floor imo .. bosses spawn random places go look for it ...

so in all RTs and tele ring shud be disabled in every kings room imo

on euro tele ring worked in LDC and ZT KR, and i believe everywhere in red moon valley. Obviously not for EM run maps.
The point of a teleport ring is that its better than an rt cuz it can be used in more places hence why it is so rare. Its a great item..dont kill the greatness about it! Jees everytime some1 complains (about something they dont have) it gets changed lol

The problem we have here is clearly some things are being done differently from Euro.

People tend to agree KRs should be a no go.
Telerings provide you a single slot target "RT" which on it's own is more than enough of a bonus for a rare item.

The argument from the GM(s) was that it didn't work that way on Euro so it wouldn't on here. Problem is, it did work on euro so working with their own logic it should work here.

Not able to be used on fox 1st but for some strange reason it could be used on 2nd for a fair while, then they disabled that.

Couldn't be used in Lightning/Lava Caves.

Let's be clear about this:- telering on euro could be used on every floor of most cave. You couldn't use it to tele from BW to STb7 you had to tele through each floor to get to the next one. Then tele to the kr door, go in and you could tele in the KR. The places you couldn't use tele ring were bdd, PB, ZT after 5f but you could in KR, Foxes and only to the skull pile in SV mines nowhere in Yims no where in Foxes. Rts on euro could be used most places except foxes(they are allowed on 1f here but not some places where euro allowed PT 7fetc) and not allowed in some KRs cant remember which. Recall could only be done to certain floors and certain doors and I cba to type them all out. Try not to muddle them all up. They are different. Telering isn't like rts

OK maybe I am muddling it up with recall which definitely couldn't be used in BDD after or in KS kr and nowhere in PB. I was recaller with guild items so don't think I tried in those places. Though I don't remember the guildie that owned his own tele talking about tele to DD or OK but it was a long time and a few servers ago.

They nerfed it completely at the drop of a hate because somebody cried like a bitch. There is no way the checked the files before they nerfed it or we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Who nerfed what ? They'll have original mapinfos from 2003 onwards, back to before recall set worked.

We know the telering worked as far back as when the gm died at sw, before the players officially had any.
