I decided to get technical yeah, manually running maps and entering hundreds of thousands of spawns that later needed to be manually removed. You tried using robot scripts to create respawns.
I'm showing off Oblivion because you're all truly missing out on something amazing.Honestly @Hab if you ****ed off for a year, worked on a server and ask for help or advice here and there during that time. Come back after the year showing off a server you'd have way more respect and i imagine a higher usercount too.
Instead you've refused to take critism or advice from people who have been on this forum longer than i've been able to walk and talk.
Don't get me wrong, you can use robot scripts for respawns etc but i'd use those in very specific use cases like needing them to shout or under stricter conditions which aren't supported by normal respawns but are from NPC scripts.I decided to get technical yeah, manually running maps and entering hundreds of thousands of spawns that later needed to be manually removed.
It killed me writing them and burnt a hole in my heart having to delete them to use actual map spawns lol.
Was a good reminder of how the 1.4 days used to be though, back when items and monsters and spawns were all done via script.

Oblivion is out fuggin standing![]()
I have 4x big donators in-game, but that's confidential anyway. Happy Monday to you I guess then :SSeriously stop lying, no one and i mean no one believes for 1 second you've had 150£, let alone 10x that . Like what has already been said , your server is quite literally the worst one to pop up in years (maybe even forever)
You wouldn't even have a "playable" server if it wasn't forI have 4x big donators in-game, but that's confidential anyway. Happy Monday to you I guess then :S
Sadly I can see in my future predictions that the Mir 2 community is going to come to a big stunt.
There's going to be 1-2 Mir2 Servers left in the next 1-2 years because of how we are being treated on these forums.
I'm personally a paying Supporter, I've spent £4k investing in files and I'm being allowed to be spoken to and treat like a piece of scat.
IMHO If you guys want to see more development towards The Legend Of Mir 2 then I suggest you clean up the amount of trolls is my personal advice.
These days, with the current server files that are available for Mir2, leaving you instantly 1 year deep in work and £1k+ deep in coding bills.
It leaves you no choice but to add in a GameShop, which was why this system was first introduced - understanding Mir is catching up... Hence Mir 1-5 these days.
The sad thing to see is people in the Mir2 community just refuse to change.
There is the quieter guys who sit in the background and read, and probably completely agree with the person being trolled which is 99% of LOMCN's spam posts.
You're banging on like im ungrateful and get things for freeYou wouldn't even have a "playable" server if it wasn't for
Me setting it all up for you because you can't follow very basic tutorials. (most i wrote myself)
@Valhalla & @daneo1989 for coding stuff in for you.
The best decision you could make is let your current server play out, then take it down. work on a server behind the scenes, learn how to do stuff for yourself and then release a decent server for users to play.
The first thing you need to do is pull your head out your own arse.
I'm nosey because i have a decent relationship with both scott and luke, right that makes sense. You're banging on like im ungrateful and get things for free
I'm sick of biting my tongue around fuggin idiots... to just keep being provoked and attacked on a fuggin forum...
FYI the people coding for me have sweet NOTHING to do with you. Neither does the amount of money I pay these guys for their hard work.
Nosey prick.

I totally understand your point of view from every aspect there, very intelligent read. So thank you first and foremost lol. There are a multitude of reasons for the decline of Mir2 servers / players. If anything, cash-cow servers put-off a huge portion of the community - so you are in fact contributing to this 'big stunt' you are predicting by releasing such servers. It has nothing to do with how people interact with you.
The community can at times feel a little toxic - but for the most part, it is a collective of people who share a passion, and who are willing to work together to keep the game alive.
I've seen many people on this forum try to help you, and most of them give up once they see your arrogance, how you respond, and once they see what your motives are. That's when people resort to winding you up, and why you are only left receiving support from those you are paying.
Investing money into your own server doesn't automatically gain you respect or make you likeable. People speak to you the way they do because of the way you interact.
You do have a choice. It was your choice to attempt to build servers, to ingore any feedback, to refute any advice, refuse to learn, to rely on others to implement new features, to add a gameshop, to set those prices. It was all, in fact, your choice.
Take some time to self-reflect. All I see is you blaming everyone else. It's the communities fault for the server files, the feedback you receive, the way people treat you, the usercounts your server gets, and now it's the communities fault you had to spend money and bring in a gameshop.
You consistently point the finger at the community - the community you soley rely on for files, advice, services, usercount, donations .etc
Many tried to genuinely advise you that the usercount won't hit good numbers for a few reasons, and eventually they gave up trying to help you upon seeing your responses. They likely sat back back, thinking "let it unfold, and he'll realise" - but here you are, still blaming the community.
Whilst server files may not be perfect, you should be grateful any of this exists in the first place, and take some personal accountability for your servers lack of playerbase.
I highly doubt there are many people agreeing with you / the way you act towards others.
I am one of these 'quieter guys' you mention. But the reason I haven't responded before is because I've refrained from joining a 'mob mentality' and to ensure this isn't just a bullying bandwagon. But I've seen enough now to realise that you are making your own bed here, and you should therefore lie in it.
Saying "The problem isn't my server, it's the players and the community" - Is like me opening a restaurant and saying "the food and service is great, it's the customers fault my business is failing".
You need to stop looking outward, and start looking inward.
No you dont. You are so 'fugging' deluded its actually worrying me . Are you sure your meds are actually working? Because from this side it looks like you need to go see your practicioner and get something differentI have 4x big donators in-game, but that's confidential anyway. Happy Monday to you I guess then :S
This is the reason your servers are failing, nothing to do with the community. My earnings are to no interest of any other person except myself lol
I totally understand your point of view from every aspect there, very intelligent read. So thank you first and foremost lol.
See in regards of me being the way I am on here and my attitude, it's because of bare arrogance.
I put my first server up, expectedly you don't get many users as it's your first whilst they watch you build & design so that part is cool.
9-10 months later you've got a massive set of files, a huge database and not the best server and the stilts that it was built around.
So server attempt two, we've took nothing but shiz from day 1 of posting because of being compared to my last server.
Sadly it's always the same 5 trolls who are just idiots from other servers who comment on everything that I comment on.
So now, my natural reaction is just defence because idiots turn into bullies and that ruins server reputations.
Now in terms of money whilst on the subject, Mir2 has always had a free set of files up to Crystal.
You can add any mob, item, change colour, break things and still have a well balanced game totally free by reading 1 idiots guide.
Now it's like, download a set of bugged files, see what works, pay a coder to fix the 6 error codes before you log on and create you an exe.
(Years ago it was 1 exe per server)
Now it's just complete nonsense.
I agree I've done myself no favours with this post, but this is how I'm currently feeling as a server owner about this forum.
I'm sure other's won't feel comfortable either when they get their requirements sent via mail in the coming days.
So people call us cashcow. We have a GameGold NPC, and GameGold in the drops.
We have a VIP £5 weekly or £15 monthly service.
We have 3x exclusive packages which offer (in order) Rebirth 1, 2, and 3.
This profited us by £1,500 in comparison to i,e Marble who probably take £50k per year.
But apparently Oblivion's the cashcow and 3gena's Arcane or Hurricane's 2 page long GameShop isn't?
Absolutely mental... We are the only server fully complying with the rules but we've took slander and a hit on the UC because of this.
From the 2hours of time i spent giving your server a try, you posted over 10 game shop discounts and 0 bug fixes cmon man....The money makes absolutely no difference lol. I could re release and it would just be the exact same UC.
