See I think your not getting my point though, I play sin too. So im fully aware of how often SS fails. But in the case of early days in archer room as you mentioned, a wiz with this current flinch would almost impossibly fail. Let alone before.

Wizards cannot tame ranged mobs, you know they still attack, very similar with Hide, often range mobs still see through this.

My point is that stun lock removes any chance, I don't think there should ever be a stun lock situation, im not saying put the old flinch back, im saying look at removing getting altogether stuck so you cannot move because of flinch

What do you mean, let alone before? How flinch is now, is how it's always been on mir.

They tried to reduce the flinch, and it just made running caves too easy.

It's been reverted back now to how it used to be. Nothing changed.

I like the idea that you flinch if it's a proper hit not 1hp or something silly, equally I think the new flinch was good but if your going to use it you should fix the no flinch bug. Stun locking when ts'ing just sucks, only ever means rt and relure. Ball ache even tho it's standard

Wiz can shock mobs, and have shield to absorb 60% of the damage. Taos can hide, summon pets and run off. ShS also fails a lot when mobs are around you / hitting you , so suffer the same.

Hide doesn't work on all mobs, most likely only half. I don't think I've found a sorc in orc cave that can't see through my hide.

There has always been mass ranged mobs since the start of the server, remember trying to get through what used to be called ghoul room in BDD? Now known as the archer room.

Places shouldn't be so easy to run through just to skip to a boss. Kill as a group?

Lols to the guy who's guild skips 90% of the cave with recall set. Your guild wouldn't even make it past floor 2 if they hadn't got recalled.

You should only flinch if you take a hit that causes a certain %age damage against your HP. If you take a hit that takes 1 HP you shouldnt flinch for example.

I like this idea. Flinch only if hit causes 10% damage or something of the sorts. Anything to make the flinching less.

The irony being nobody had a problem with flinch (they just dealt with it) until a new system was brought in that made it far too easy/was full of flaws (Randomly not flinching when you should flinch) It made the game too easy. Anyone denying that is fooling themselves.

It seems the majority of people here are having problems with mobs. Have you tried... killing the mobs before rushing to a boss, or getting one of your crowdcontrol classes to help you through?

If we make the game too easy there'll be no point adding in new content or new boss KR's because you'll just fly through ignoring the mobs.

Ok i agree with u, but i dont have any fighting chance versus players whit 10-15ms ping when i have a ping of 120.
The Flinch thing heped me PVPing low ping players,now im just a siting duck.

Have you tried using a program called WTFast? It may help you with your ping issues.

This is something that only the minority have a problem with, there should not be a 120ping cap put into place just because it suits you/them. It's also a very backwards way of solving an issue. You don't want to limit people's connection to a server... ever.

I think the argument to be had is more about the busy caves.

There are certain situations where you cannot move because of 7-8 range mobs making it impossible for the flinch to stop. despite being constantly hit, there should always still be the possibility for you to walk. Because of how the flinch is working this becomes almost impossible in certain situations.

Perhaps this is intended?

I've run through lures of 100 BDD archers, and on a tao - even without hiding I've never found it "impossible" to move, seems like normal to me, if enough mobs hit you you struggle to walk, it's always been like that, but you'll move eventually. Warrs do a BA or LR, taos hide, sins hide, archers chuck a static, wiz TS, Either there's no issue, or I'm missing the point?

This makes no sense. Doesn't matter if someone splashes water in your face, or kicks you in the nads, either way you flinch! :)

I'd imagine there's not that many long term players around these days.

Personally i've dealt with this "flinching" perfectly fine, and as far as i'm concerned has always been part of Mir, I remember luring days in ST where the lurer would get locked down by moths and bug bats.

Flinching is part of the risk of attempting a Run through. Remove that risk, and whats the point in majority of the floors? May as well have 1 busy floor if all your going to do is run past 5 of them. But hell, I know i'm talking to a wall with some people lol. People will cry about anything when it doesn't suit their play styles I suppose.

Yes im useing WTF and i dont need a CAP @120 just 40-50.
And if there is a CAP four FPS that i cant use my PC @ max output wy can u benefit from living next 2 server and im 2800km from it.

Still too slow? Move closer to the server. Or use an exe, I know 10+ ppl who do and poss a further few, m2 anti cheat is flawed, doesn't kick u , before any come backs....I watched the guy do it, in game, live...he still plays now.

Stop making irrelevant comments, this isn't real life. Also the only class benefiting from this is sin and some warriors with their constant swings. All other classes get flinched by 5 range mobs, can't escape from melee and then get slapped down. This flinch is ****.
